Rovio Entertainment has announced that their new grid-based puzzle game titled “Angry Birds Bounce” will be released on Apple Arcade starting July 3. This exciting arcade-style title, which adds a fresh twist to the series’ slingshot action, was unveiled through Apple Newsroom as part of Apple Arcade’s lineup for July.

Get ready for bouncing gameplay and roguelite challenges

The fresh version of Angry Birds Bounce offers a unique twist on the beloved series, combining the endearing features of Angry Birds with quick-tempo, arcade-style brick-breaking gameplay. In this installment, you’ll gather your favorite avian companions, assemble potent flocks, and launch them across the grid to vanquish the swine army.

Being a fan, since childhood, of the initial games and even the entertaining “Bad Piggies” spin-off, I’m looking forward to this new release. What makes it even more exciting is the addition of roguelike features, offering fresh challenges in every level, complete with unique power-ups and other surprises!

Engage with the biggest roster of Angry Birds characters yet

One exciting aspect is that it offers an extensive collection of Angry Birds characters like never before. Characters such as Red, Chuck, Bomb, and many other beloved faces are included. You can have a blast experimenting with their unique abilities to create fun combos and powerful moves.

This game appears to offer a fun experience, boasting improved character movements and graphics, complex strategic elements, roguelike features, a mix of classic gaming dynamics, and additional features. I can’t guarantee its success, but I hope it revives the excitement that the series originally brought, though my enthusiasm might be influenced by nostalgia at the moment.

The game “Angry Birds Bounce” is scheduled to debut on the Apple Arcade platform on July 3, 2025. To access and play this game, you will require an active Apple Arcade subscription, which can be found in the App Store for a monthly fee of $6.99 (prices may vary depending on your region).
