Miley Cyrus wears daring mesh gown after detailing how she hid drug purchases from her accountant
On a bustling Friday evening in New York City, all eyes were on me as I made my grand entrance at the premiere of my latest visual album, Something Beautiful.
At the 2025 Tribeca Festival, held at The Beacon Theatre, the 32-year-old performer captivated everyone with her stunning appearance in a semi-transparent gown, during the festival’s event.
Underneath the dress, which featured a dramatic fringe, the superstar wore a nude bustier.
Loosely wrapped around her shoulders was a dramatic fringe shawl.
The celebrity, having recently made a discreet jab at her former spouse Liam Hemsworth, sported her dark hair in bouncy curls and adorned herself with stylish drop earrings.
The event takes place following the ex-Disney star openly disclosing that she concealed her previous drug transactions from her accountant.
On this week’s edition of The Ringer’s Every Single Album podcast, I shed some light on a past aspect of my lifestyle: “Concealing my drug expenses was a significant expense item. To keep these hidden from my accountant, we labeled them as ‘vintage clothing.’
‘And so she would get these checks. That happens on touring all the time.’
The star admitted her accountant would wonder about the ‘vintage clothes’ costs.
Whenever she encountered me, she would ask, “Where is the genuine $15,000 John Lennon T-shirt you purchased? Oh, it’s up in the attic.
She expressed her strong desire to preserve it, as it’s quite fragile. Proper care is necessary for the material. Consequently, she purchased numerous vintage clothing items during that year.
Miley admitted she’s grateful for how much she’s grown since that period.
‘I’m so glad I survived that time in my life.’
‘Though I wouldn’t advise others to take such a challenging path, I am extremely satisfied that I managed to complete it myself.’
Over the years, Cyrus openly discusses her path towards sobriety. In particular, during an interview with Billboard in 2017, she revealed that she had chosen to abstain from marijuana and was experiencing personal growth – or, as she put it, “evolving.
‘I haven’t smoked weed in three weeks, which is the longest I’ve ever [gone without it],’ she said.
I’m currently abstaining from both drugs and alcohol. A moment ago, I made a choice to engage in an activity, but let me assure you, I’m entirely sober at this present moment.
Miley Cyrus’s ninth album, titled “Something Beautiful,” dropped on May 30 and is being marketed as her new phase of ‘psychedelic’ sound music.
The artist formerly known as The Beautiful That Way singer, who stopped touring in 2023, expressed enthusiastically: “This album must begin with my affection for it, and that love will resonate whether you’re aware of it or not. You’ll undoubtedly feel it when you play the music.
The album has garnered a variety of opinions from experts, with Rolling Stone giving it a rating of 4 out of 5 stars.
