Unfortunately, she was frequently criticized for her appearance and accent, a judgment that was unjust as it stemmed from dislike towards her uniqueness.

Time and again, Fleur showed remarkable qualities such as incredible bravery, unwavering devotion, and sharp intellect. However, spectators often perceived her as a melodramatic and aloof young woman due to her unique mannerisms. She was an invaluable asset during the Second Wizarding War, willingly offering her marital residence to the Order of the Phoenix when they sought sanctuary. Her allegiance to Bill, even after the werewolf attack, left no doubt about her character.

He came across as grumpy and difficult, which made it easy to understand why fans disliked him. However, it eventually became apparent that Kreacher had been subjected to being passed down through generations, where they were treated as bonded laborers, which likely explained his attitude.

Sirius had never shown kindness to Kreacher, which bred his initial hostility. In contrast, Regulus was always gentle with the house elf, earning his devotion and affection. As Harry began treating Kreacher with care and respect, the house elf reciprocated by altering his behavior towards him as well. I can’t help but empathize with the character of Cho Chang, who unfortunately faced undue criticism from Harry Potter enthusiasts. As a reader, there was great anticipation when Harry Potter, our beloved protagonist, found himself in his first romantic interest. Yet, it’s essential to remember that Cho was already in a relationship with Cedric at the time, and her feelings for Harry were not returned.

While this scenario was perfectly normal and acceptable, many fans seemed to take it personally. I believe it’s crucial to remember that fictional characters are creations of the author and should be respected as such, rather than being subjected to personal judgments or criticisms.

Following Cedric’s passing, Cho made an effort to continue living, much like Harry did, but she found herself in a state of emotional turmoil due to the loss of someone dear. It was understandable for her to feel lost and vulnerable given her circumstances, yet many misunderstood her actions and saw her as merely hanging onto Harry. However, this wasn’t accurate. Cho required time to find her own path, and Harry wasn’t the suitable match for her.

Rubeus Hagrid Had Good Intentions But Poor Execution

Characterized as a benign colossus, Rubeus Hagrid faced a challenging existence due to his unique nature contrasting with others at Hogwarts. Fans speculated that Hagrid might have been secretly a Death Eater, given the numerous errors in his character development. However, this theory appears unjustified as Hagrid demonstrated his loyalty repeatedly by risking his life for Dumbledore and Harry multiple times. His actions were imperfect because he was a genuine and authentic character who needed compassion to be fully appreciated.

Lavender Brown Never Did Anything Wrong

Lavender Brown, a student from Gryffindor House, initially played a minor role, but as she began dating Ron Weasley, her character became more prominent. During this time of first love, Lavender was quite affectionate towards Ron, often displaying behaviors typical of a smitten teenager. Unfortunately, her overzealous displays of affection were perceived negatively, as it seemed that Ron wasn’t fully reciprocating her feelings.

It wasn’t right that Lavender faced so much hatred when the real issue should have been Ron’s inappropriate behavior. He pretended to like Lavender, but it was really about boosting his own ego. This behavior caused harm not only to Lavender but also to Hermione. Unfortunately, people who favored a relationship between Hermione and Ron used this as an opportunity to publicly criticize Lavender for simply being a kind and lively young woman, which seemed unfair.

Dudley Dursley Was Created By His Parents

It’s indisputable that Dudley Dursley behaved abhorrently towards Harry throughout their lives. However, it’s essential to understand that Petunia and Vernon were instrumental in molding him into the person he became. Dudley was essentially trained to be a bully and inflict pain on Harry, as that was the behavior they exhibited. Strangely enough, Dudley learned that cruelty towards Harry would garner his parents’ affection and approval, so he emulated their actions.

After Harry rescued him from the Dementors, it wasn’t until then that he started learning to connect with his emotions. Later in the series, Dudley admitted that he hadn’t viewed Harry as poorly as he had thought, which showed that Dudley had a change of heart regarding his past actions. This development suggested that Dudley was maturing and preparing to make amends.

Ginny Weasley Was Smart and Accomplished

In simpler terms, Ginny Weasley, the youngest of the Weasleys, often faced criticism from fans due to initial impressions that she wasn’t suitable for Harry Potter. Some thought she was just a ‘fan girl.’ However, as the story unfolded, it became clear that Ginny was more capable than Harry in various aspects of her life, including academics and social skills. She deliberately improved herself so as not to be overshadowed by him. Not only was she exceptionally talented in magic, but she also demonstrated this skill effectively in the movies. Unfortunately, some viewers still had negative opinions about her portrayal on screen.

There wasn’t a single character who faced such unwarranted hatred as Dobby, who was often misunderstood due to his initial actions.

Ron Weasley Was Just a Human With Flaws

Ron frequently faces an excessive amount of criticism for showing genuine human emotions with Harry and Hermione, which appears unjust. He never portrayed himself as flawless, and he felt feelings such as jealousy, embarrassment, and anger towards the two individuals who were his closest friends. Such emotions are ordinary within relationships, and Ron behaved like a normal person when he distanced himself from Harry and Hermione or ceased communicating with them when he was wounded.

Ron consistently had a sound explanation for his actions, and he always reconciled with his friends upon recognizing his errors, except for the instance when he was affected by the Horcrux, which led him to temporarily distance himself from them. However, he swiftly reconnected once he understood the situation. Ron stood out in the series as a genuine character because his role was primarily to back up Harry and Hermione, who were deeply involved in significant tasks that they had been given.

Albus Dumbledore Was Not An Evil Mastermind

In the wake of Harry Potter‘s final chapter, numerous readers are left pondering whether Albus Dumbledore was a cunning mastermind who orchestrated a great deal of hardship for Harry with full knowledge of his actions. Although it’s clear that Dumbledore possessed an almost omniscient understanding, he merely steered Harry towards his preordained fate, which occasionally necessitated sacrifices from both parties. Throughout this journey, Dumbledore acted with good intentions and ensured Harry was well-informed about the challenges ahead.

Dumbledore believed that Harry should live with the Dursleys to ensure his safety and make personal sacrifices to destroy the Horcrux within him. Dumbledore knew this was necessary for the wellbeing of the Wizarding World, even though he wasn’t the one forcing Harry to do these things. Throughout it all, Dumbledore stood by Harry, guiding him. It was clear that Dumbledore deeply cared for Harry and felt remorseful about subjecting him to such hardships.
