KISS Biopic Movie Casts Nick Jonas As Lead Singer Paul Stanley As Gene Simmons Casting Search Continues
The upcoming music biopic has secured its Paul Stanley, as it delves into the 1970s storyline of the legendary rock band KISS, renowned for their flamboyant stage acts and distinctive black-and-white makeup. This band consists of key members who embody specific personas: Paul Stanley as Starchild (lead vocals and rhythm guitar), Gene Simmons as Demon (bass and vocals), Ace Frehley as Spaceman (drums and vocals), and Peter Criss as Catman (lead guitar and vocals). The movie is helmed by director McG, known for his work on “The Babysitter,” while the latest draft of the screenplay was penned by Darren Lemke, famous for “Gemini Man.
According to Deadline, Nick Jonas has been chosen for the role of Paul Stanley in the upcoming film “Shout It Out Loud”. He is said to sing himself and is undergoing training to mimic Stanley’s vocals. On the other hand, the search continues for an actor to play KISS’s iconic vocalist and bassist Gene Simmons. Deadline hints that a decision might be imminent regarding this role. The movie, backed by STX, is anticipated to start filming towards the end of 2025 or early 2026.
