Lottie Moss has revealed she was ‘ready to end it all’ this week after a severe ADHD ‘crash out’

This week, Kate Moss’s sister, Lottie, disclosed that she felt close to giving up life amidst a challenging phase with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

In her house, without any makeup, she wore a white nightgown while recording a video called ‘Public Service Announcement for ADHD Girls’.

The 27-year-old expressed: ‘Currently, if you’re experiencing a severe setback, know that it won’t last long as I’ve just gone through the toughest downturn in my life. I honestly considered ending things.’

‘I was like no one loves me, no one’s ever loved me, I hate my life, I’m disorganised, I’m lazy.

It feels as though my mind and I are engaged in a conflict. If you’re experiencing similar feelings, please take comfort in knowing that you’re not alone; I’m going through it with you as well.

I understand the challenges ADHD can pose for young girls, and I believe we often underestimate or overlook ADHD as a significant mental health issue.

Women’s feelings can be like a rollercoaster – going up and down all the time. When I was initially diagnosed, I even wondered if I might have bipolar disorder, it was that extreme.

‘Crash outs’ refer to instances where an individual experiences intense feelings of being overwhelmed and emotionally exhausted. This typically happens when ADHD medications stop working, or when the person is subjected to high levels of pressure or stress.

Beneath the TikTok video, the star of Celebrity Bear Hunt wrote: ‘Additionally, could you offer suggestions for effective medications?’

On the recently cancelled Netflix show, she candidly discussed her past battles with drug addiction, revealing, “I was trapped in a haze of drugs and despair. I felt nothing, had no interest in living or dying.

‘I would have run it into the ground, to be honest and my mum said, “You need to go into rehab”.’

In February 2022, Lottie underwent treatment for drug problems, particularly related to cocaine, at an unnamed rehabilitation center located within the United States.

The model claims she had no history of drug or alcohol use prior to her rise as a runway star, but eventually developed an addiction.

In London, where she was born, the socialite shares that she couldn’t open up to her half-sister, Kate Moss, regarding her struggles. She acknowledges that being consistently compared to the renowned supermodel was an unrelenting weight on her shoulders throughout her career.

Earlier, Lottie opened up about her struggles with substances, explaining that she began using drugs and alcohol at an early age to help cope, a common practice unfortunately seen within the fashion world.

When I was quite young, there were individuals in influential roles who provided me with drugs and alcohol. Since they were in authority, it all appeared normal to me at the time.

She went on to say: ‘Surrounded by individuals who facilitate your actions, particularly at high-end fashion events where people reside in luxurious penthouses, and staff of renowned brands who indulge in drug use with you at the tender age of 19.’

Or more informally:
‘She added: ‘Being among those who let you get away with things, like at swanky fashion gatherings where people live in penthouse apartments, and employees of famous brands who party with drugs as a 19-year-old.’

‘That is so weird to me now… that should never happen in any industry.’

‘Although no one explicitly suggested not allowing a young woman to use drugs, there was a general sentiment that she should be focusing on her health and potential rather than indulging in excessive alcohol. This could mean starting the day with a gym class instead.’

In September 2024, Lottie found herself admitted to the hospital following an incident where she ingested excessive amounts of Ozempic, which she had received from a friend who illegally obtained it from a doctor without prescription.

At approximately 60 kilograms (or 9 stone), the individual experienced severe vomiting, a seizure, and intense dehydration following the consumption of the drug.

She expressed a strong preference for not using Ozempic anymore, a medication used primarily for managing obesity and diabetes, which has faced significant worldwide supply issues.

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but share my own chilling account: I, myself, remember the harrowing episode of a seizure that struck me, triggered by the agonizing grip of dehydration. Among all the trials I’ve faced, that moment when my face and hands seized up stands out as one of the most terrifying experiences I’ve ever lived through.

She mentioned that she wished she had known some small details prior to starting it, and disclosed that her weight dropped to approximately 116 lbs (53 kg) within a short period of time.

Following consultation with medical experts, it was discovered that the dose of Ozempic Lottie was administering via injection was intended for individuals who weigh at least 100 kg, which is approximately twice her current weight.
