Gemma Collins has revealed that she has been struck down with pneumonia.
Previously featured on TOWIE, the 44-year-old individual recently utilized Instagram to post an update about their health, explaining that they’ve been unwell for approximately three weeks.
In her latest post, she wrote: “Apologies for my silence lately, I’ve got Pneumonia which means I’m not as quick or sharp as usual every day.
Though I’m fully committed to my job, draining every last drop of my energy, I won’t be far from your entertainment for long.
On her Story she added an update as she showed she was on a drip and had been visited by a doctor.
Lung inflammation, often due to an infectious agent, is what we call pneumonia. The majority of individuals recover within a span of 2-4 weeks. However, infants, the elderly, and those with pre-existing heart or lung conditions are susceptible to developing severe illness and might require hospitalization for treatment.

Gemma also shared a snap with her pet pooch Gucci who she said was ‘giving her lots of cuddles.’
A patient expressed gratitude at home, saying, “I want to thank each and every one of you who has been assisting me. For the past three weeks, I’ve been battling pneumonia, and it’s hard for me to fully express my appreciation to all the medical professionals helping me.
It comes after just last week she was seen in good spirits attending the Chelsea Flower Show.
