Fans “can’t wait” as new mystery thriller series unveils trailer ahead of June streaming release
Amazon Studios (Prime Video) has unveiled a preview for their upcoming adaptation of E. Lockhart’s suspenseful novel, “We Were Liars,” published in 2014.
All eight episodes of the new show will debut on the streaming service on Wednesday 18 June.
Readers who love the book have been excitedly counting down the days until the series premiere, which Amazon MGM Studios officially confirmed in March 2023.

On Prime Video’s Instagram page, the trailer generated a lot of enthusiasm, as numerous fans expressed their eagerness to see the series by saying they can’t wait for its release.
The trailer indicates that “We Were Liars” primarily revolves around the affluent Sinclair family, who spend their idyllic summers at Beechwood Island, until a tragic event befalls the eldest daughter, Cadence, which she cannot recall.
The drama We Were Liars features actress Emily Alyn Lind, who is recognized from shows like Revenge and Gossip Girl; up-and-coming star Esther McGregor; Mamie Gummer, known for her role in The Good Wife; and Caitlin FitzGerald, best known from Masters of Sex.
