Arslan Ash taking home the gold yet again: The first one in TWT 2025

In a remarkable display, the extraordinary athlete climbs up to the top three ranks on the worldwide scoreboard. During the Battle Arena Melbourne 15 (BAM 15), he outmatched several formidable rivals.

In summary, the initial phase of the TEKKEN World Tour 2025 (TWT 2025) was challenging for Pakistani players as a whole. Arslan Ash was prevented from attending Evo Japan 2025 due to visa issues in Japan, while ATIF and other competitors were hindered from reaching Tokyo because of a volatile situation in their home country.

It appears that the local gaming community has bounced back strongly from the initial setbacks, demonstrating resilience reminiscent of top-tier fighting game experts. ATIF’s second-place finish at Combo Breaker 2025 marked the inaugural Master event for TWT 2025. Recently, Arslan Ash clinched victory in another such tournament, marking his first win at a Master 2025 qualifier.

At BAM 15 tournament, Arslan Ash showcased his main character, Nina Williams, in TEKKEN 8. Enclosed within parentheses, he battled against several prominent figures in the esports scene, notably hailing from Japan and South Korea.

Arslan Ash on top, again: TEKKEN 8 BAM 15

The Battle Arena Melbourne 15 tournament took place in Australia from May 31st through June 1st. As a qualifying event for the Master-tier TWT 2025, it attracted many top-notch players worldwide.

As a devoted fan, I found myself cheering for “Knee,” the victor of TEKKEN 8 Evo Japan 2025, during the tournament. However, his formidable Bryan character couldn’t withstand the ferociousness of Rangchu‘s Kuma in the top 8 battles. The underdog, Rangchu, not only triumphed over “Knee,” but also defeated the reigning champion from EVO Japan 2024, chikurin. This set up an epic showdown between Rangchu and Arslan Ash in the losers’ semi-finals.

At Tekken 8 BAM 15, Arslan Ash was among the losers, but he faced some challenging opening matches. Arslan managed to beat Kazuya, who had reached the top 8 in TEKKEN 8 Evo 2024 under the handle KEISUKE, and Steve, the winner of DreamHack Dallas 2024 (also known as Nobi).

In both these matches, the opponents won the opening game, but Arslan Ash managed to recover.

To reach the ultimate showdown, Arslan Ash defeated Rangchu, who is the future TWT 2024 Champion. This was an enjoyable reenactment of their earlier encounter at the primary major TEKKEN 8 Season 2 competition.

In the TEKKEN 8 Esports World Cup 2024, Arslan Ash faced off against the victor, a formidable opponent known as ULSAN. However, despite switching characters from Dragunov to Lars and Reina, ULSAN unfortunately couldn’t secure a single win in the match.

At the TEKKEN 8 BAM 15 tournament, the final opponent turned out to be another Pakistani player, who went on to win – this was Farzeen. He managed to outplay Nobi and ULSAN in the winners bracket. It’s impressive progress for the player! He had finished third at TEKKEN 8 Combo Breaker 2024, but his path was halted by none other than Arslan Ash. However, his performance history shows some inconsistency beyond that triumphant event.

In simpler terms, Farzeen had won two matches and was ahead in both the match and overall tournament points. However, Arslan Ash thwarted his dreams by resetting the brackets and went on to secure a decisive 3-0 win.

I’m thrilled to share that my favorite player, Arslan Ash, has climbed up to the third spot on the TWT 2025 global leaderboard! Following his impressive performance at BAM 15, he now boasts a total of 890 points. Only Mulgold, the champion of TEKKEN 8 Combo Breaker 2025 (with 1,240 points), and Knee (with 1,250 points) are ahead of him in the rankings. What an achievement for Arslan Ash!

preparations are underway for the upcoming major TEKKEN 8 esports competition! The event, CEO 2025, will take place from June 13 to June 15 in Orlando, Florida. Notably, it includes a TWT Master-tier qualifier, and some of the best players have already signed up for it – including Arslan Ash, ATIF, Rangchu, ULSAN, Mulgold, Knee, among others.
