It’s the End of an Era for The CW With Last Remaining Drama Series Scoring 1 Final Renewal

The popular sports drama series “All American” still has some miles left on its journey. In fact, it’s been renewed for an 8th and final season consisting of 13 episodes, scheduled to hit the screens in 2026.

Among the scripted shows on The CW, All American is the only one that began airing before the network was sold to Nexstar, as most of their current scripted content is either licensed or co-produced with companies from Canada, Australia, and the UK.

Drawing inspiration from the life of football pro Spencer Paysinger, the initial six seasons of All American focused on South Crenshaw’s football player Spencer James, portrayed by Daniel Ezra. As a promising talent, he was recruited by high school coach Billy Baker (Diggs) to play in Beverly Hills. Starting from Season 7, the show has shifted its focus onto Spencer’s friends Jordan (Michael Evans Behling), Layla (Greta Onieogou), and Coop (Bre-Z), as they navigate their way through early adulthood.
