Lee, renowned for his elegant creations made from recycled paper goods, incorporated JJJJound’s paper bags and adhesive tape into his latest project. Drawing on his deep roots in Eastern artisanship, the artist combined these modern materials with Korean Hanji paper, a venerable textile used in antique interiors. Previously, Lee has repurposed a variety of items such as McDonald’s Happy Meal bags, Nike shoeboxes, and Hermès Plein Air blotting papers to make one-of-a-kind furniture and lighting.
