Actor Vanessa Kirby from “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” appears to have hinted at a significant disclosure that could influence the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s upcoming events.
This upcoming summer, I’ll be diving into a new Marvel adventure alongside some incredible talent! The stars include Kirby as Sue Storm, Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm, and Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm. Can’t wait to join forces with this fantastic team!
Back in the groovy ’60s, I stumbled upon a sneak peek of a flick that dropped a bombshell: Storm, aka the Invisible Lady, is carrying a bundle of joy from none other than Richards, aka Mr. Elastic Man!
It seems that the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) might soon introduce Franklin Richards, a potent character from the comic books, following the birth of his baby.
In the comic books, Franklin possesses the ability to generate entire universes and reestablish the fabric of existence. This skill has sparked debate among fans about the potential implications of his appearance within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

In conversation with Empire, Kirby appears to verify that Franklin will possess the same abilities as depicted in the comics, stating: “Even children can have superpowers.
There are rumors suggesting that due to his power to manipulate time and dimensions, Franklin might be employed to restructure the Marvel Cinematic Universe following the sixth Avengers film titled Avengers: Secret Wars.
As a dedicated Marvel fan, I can’t help but speculate about the upcoming conclusion of Secret Wars. If Doctor Doom is indeed defeated, it seems plausible that Franklin could play a pivotal role in restoring our universe. This could potentially merge various timelines together, leading to an exciting reboot of the Marvel Universe!

Earlier, when discussing ‘The Fantastic Four’, director Matt Shakman expressed that the film, despite its multiple postponements, promises to be an exciting wait for viewers.
He mentioned that the project differs significantly in numerous aspects. Unfortunately, he couldn’t provide specific examples. If he could, he would elaborate more. However, the unique perspectives applied to both storytelling and cinematography perfectly match the nature of the material, as per his statement.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps will be released in cinemas on July 25, 2025.
