Margot Robbie is showing support for Victoria Beckham amidst a family conflict by wearing Beckham’s designs while promoting her new film, Wuthering Heights.
The 35-year-old actress has been busy promoting her new film, which also features Jacob Elordi.
On Tuesday, her stylist Andrew Mukamal posted photos of her wearing two outfits by the designer, who is currently going through a difficult personal period.
She turned heads in a short, white feathered dress from Victoria’s spring/summer 2026 line, showing off her long legs.
While in another the feather theme continued with a black corset and wide leg trousers.
Margot, starring as Catherine Earnshaw with Elordi as Heathcliff in the new movie, accessorized her outfit with dark sunglasses while posing for photos at another promotional event.
David and Victoria Beckham have been having a difficult time with their son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz for several months now, with reports of a strained relationship.
The situation reached a critical point last Monday when Brooklyn publicly announced he doesn’t want to repair his relationship with his family.
Since the influencer’s claims—that he was dominated by a family prioritizing publicity and that his marriage to Nicola, 31, brought him much-needed peace and eased his severe anxiety—David Beckham and his family haven’t publicly responded.
He claimed Victoria unexpectedly stopped working on his future wife’s wedding dress right before the wedding, and then took over their first dance, behaving inappropriately and dancing provocatively with him in front of all the guests.
Victoria is reportedly hurt and feels betrayed by Brooklyn’s recent shocking comments and disclosures, especially after she dedicated years to shielding him from potentially damaging information.
As a long-time follower of the Beckhams, I remember when stories started circulating about Brooklyn and his early life. Apparently, according to Katie Hind at the Daily Mail, the whole Beckham team really sprang into action to protect him whenever anything negative came out – things like gossip about his relationships or claims he was hanging out with a bad crowd. They were very quick to defend him, it seemed!
The family appeared to be presenting a strong, unified image in Paris during fashion week, while Brooklyn stayed behind in the US with Nicola.
Margot Robbie cheerfully talked about kissing her attractive, younger co-star Jacob during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday, promoting their new film, Wuthering Heights.
The conversation turned to kissing after Kimmel pointed out the film contains a significant amount of sexual content. This is director Emerald Fennell’s unique interpretation of Emily Brontë’s famous novel, and her only one.
Kimmel asked if the book contained a lot of sexual content. Robbie responded that Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff, the characters played by her and Elordi, didn’t even share a kiss in the original story.
Oh my gosh, did you hear Jimmy Kimmel?! He was totally teasing Margot about Jacob, and she just… smiled and admitted they kiss a lot! It’s so cute! And remember when she said she and Jacob became totally codependent? Ugh, they’re just the cutest couple ever, I swear!
Kimmel mentioned they kissed ‘all over the property,’ and the woman confirmed, ‘We kiss everywhere, a lot!’
Robbie, who is married to film producer Tom Ackerley, 35, explained that releasing the movie on Valentine’s Day was a deliberate decision.
The Oscar nominee shared that she recently watched the film with a number of her female friends.
Spending a night out with my girlfriends, maybe having a few drinks, would be really fun.
After suggesting women could see the movie with their significant others, Kimmel playfully added, “Then you can tell your partner on the drive home, ‘Why can’t you be more like Jacob Elordi?'”
Robbie agreed, saying she was concerned that women might start measuring their partners against Heathcliff, and even prefer his less-loved competitor, Edgar Linton, who ends up marrying Catherine.
I’m a little worried this might cause arguments. I suspect a lot of men will start asking their partners if they see them as passionate and intense like Heathcliff, or more stable and kind like Edgar.
‘And I don’t know if they wanna hear the answer,’ she quipped.
Robbie continued, explaining that people will likely ask, “So, who is your Heathcliff?” She started filming the movie only three months after having her son.
Jimmy Kimmel playfully confessed he realized he was behaving like the character ‘Edgar,’ even suggesting his wife might have started calling him that. Rob Schneider then praised Edgar as being ‘a really good guy.’
It comes days after Robbie confessed to being ‘codependent’ with her co-star.
She explained in an interview with Fandango that she tends to become overly attached to her coworkers and really cares about everyone she works with. She also gets very upset when projects finish, finding it hard to move on – a pattern she noticed developing quickly with a colleague named Jacob.
She told Elordi that she wasn’t sure if Emerald had asked him to do whatever he was doing, but she remembered when they first started filming. Emerald would consistently position himself nearby, always keeping an eye on Cathy from a distance.
As the cast was laughing, Fennell, 40, quickly added, ‘I didn’t ask him to do that – in fact, I had to ask him to leave.’
By the third day of shooting, Robbie realized she kept checking to see where he was.
She described feeling deeply unsettled and adrift when Elordi wasn’t with her, like she’d lost something essential for comfort and security.
Meanwhile Elordi admitted they have a ‘mutual obsession’ with each other.
The actor known for playing Frankenstein said he deliberately stayed at least 10 meters away from the actress who played Barbie, constantly maintaining that distance.
‘We have a mutual obsession,’ he said during the interview, as Robbie sat nearby.
Honestly, no matter what the movie is about, if you get to work with Margot Robbie, you’ll definitely want to be close by on set – within a few meters – the entire time.
He observed her closely – the way she held her teacup, how she ate, everything she did. He kept waiting for her composure to falter, for something to reveal itself, but it never did, he noted.
Elsewhere, the Saltburn star shared more behind the scenes secrets.
There was a feeling on set, even during rehearsals, like when we were filming a scene of them running across the moors. I’d glance at my co-star, and she’d look back, and in that instant, we genuinely felt connected to the characters and their love story.
The movie features Shazad Latif, Hong Chau, Alison Oliver, Charlotte Mellington, and Owen Cooper, and is co-produced by Robbie’s LuckyChap Entertainment, the production company responsible for the popular 2023 films Barbie and Saltburn.
She runs the company with husband Tom, with whom she welcomed a baby boy in October 2024.
Wuthering Heights is set to hit theaters February 13.
