Skill Analysis of Haya in Honor of Kings
Passive Skill: Moon’s Farewell
Haya uses Moon Crystals to power her abilities. Once she’s out of Moon Crystals, her first and second skills will need to recharge, but her next basic attack will do extra magic damage. Both of Haya’s first and second skills leave a mark on enemies they hit. If you hit a marked enemy again, it will trigger additional effects.
First Skill: Crescent Wave
Fires a beam of moonlight that deals magic damage. If the target is already marked, the attack deals additional damage.
Second Skill: Wayward Rays
This ability sends out orbs that deal magical damage. It also grants the user a shield and a boost to movement speed. If the orbs hit enemies who are already marked, those enemies will be stunned.
Third Skill: Moonscape Mirage
Connect to an enemy to reduce the damage you take. After a short time, you’ll activate a Mirage. While in the Mirage, you gain a shield and your skills recharge much faster. Using the skill again while in the Mirage lets you quickly move 700 units away from the enemy.
Skill Level-Up Method for Haya
- Skill 1: Unlock and prioritize upgrading this skill.

- Skill 3: Prioritise upgrading whenever available for the serious damage output and utility it presents.

Honor of Kings Haya Guide: Gameplay Tips
Early Game
Head to the Mid Lane and play as Haya. At the start of the game, focus on playing safely by constantly attacking enemies from a distance. Use your Skill 1 to quickly eliminate enemy minions and damage opponents, marking them to take extra damage. Be mindful of how often you use Haya’s abilities, as using Skill 1 and Skill 2 too much will put them on cooldown quickly.
Before using Haya’s second ability, use her first skill to mark enemies – this will stun them when the second ability hits. Early in the game, don’t push too far into enemy territory. Instead, focus on earning gold, safely damaging enemies from a distance, and moving between lanes to help your team’s main damage dealer whenever you can.
Mid Game
As the game progresses into the mid-game, Haya becomes a significant threat on the Gorge map. She can rapidly use her abilities, and her skills give her an advantage when targeting enemies. This leads to powerful damage during team movements and jungle encounters. Her ultimate ability adds a lot of versatility to battles, allowing for skillful and creative plays.
This ability lets you safely engage enemies, decreasing the damage you take and significantly increasing your own damage output. While inside the Mirage, your skills recharge much faster, letting you dominate team fights. Prioritize joining large team battles, use your ultimate to quickly eliminate vulnerable enemies, and then safely retreat before they can focus you down.
Late Game
During big team battles later in the game, focus on where you stand and when you attack. Stay protected behind your tanks and deal extra damage to enemies that have been marked. Also, use your ultimate ability to quickly target and eliminate key threats, like enemy mages or damage dealers, to help your team win.
Help your team achieve important goals like securing Overlord or Tyrant. Doing so will give them a significant advantage as the game progresses. Here’s a skill combination that can be useful during the late game:
Skill 1→ Skill 2→ Skill 3→ Spam your Skill 1 and Skill 2 repeatedly
