Gal Gadot sports a bloodied face as she runs through central London while filming thriller The Runner after pro-Gaza demonstrations disrupt filming
On Thursday in London, Gal Gadot was seen with a wounded appearance while filming intense sequences for her forthcoming action-thriller titled “The Runner.
On a street close to Temple tube station, the actress, aged 39, was spotted running while there appeared to be simulated blood on one side of her face.
Snow White wore an effortless look, combining a blue blouse, black leggings, and vibrant red sneakers.
At a certain moment, the actress was spotted leaning close to the subway station, seemingly taking a breather in character.
As a die-hard fan, I always ensure I’ve got my water bottle and a light jacket handy when rubbing shoulders with the crew during breaks between filming scenes.

As an utterly enthused admirer, I find myself immersed in the gripping tale where I, the spectator, witness a dedicated runner transformed into a resilient London lawyer named Gal. Her days are filled with legal triumphs, but suddenly, her tranquil life is shattered when her cherished son is kidnapped. Plunged into a perilous chase across the city, she shows an indomitable spirit, leaving me on the edge of my seat, eagerly anticipating each thrilling turn of events.
Under the pressure of enigmatic instructions from someone unknown, she strives to rescue her son.
The film, which will be distributed by Amazon MGM Studios, also stars Damien Lewis.
Over the past few weeks, authorities claim that protesters have frequently disrupted shooting spots for The Runner series in the city, mainly because of Gal’s Israeli background.
As Gal, who has a history of service with the Israeli Defense Forces, I have expressed robust backing for Israel’s military action in Gaza, in response to the Hamas attacks on October 7th. This position has ignited strong criticism from advocates supporting the Palestinian cause.
On Wednesday, police officers from the Met were sent to a filming location in central London with the purpose of identifying individuals connected to previous demonstrations and to stop any further disturbances from occurring.
Police apprehended five individuals on charges of harassment and violations related to Section 241 of the Trade Union and Labour Relations Act. This section of law prevents individuals from impeding access to a place of work.
Among the individuals apprehended, two had outstanding warrants related to past occurrences, while three were taken into custody for infractions that transpired on Wednesday.

The supervising official, Neil Holyoak, expressed that although they fully recognize the significance of peaceful demonstrations, they are obligated to step in when such protests exceed the boundary into severe disruption or illegal activities.
We’ve been talking to the production company to learn about how the protests are affecting their operations and any people who might be involved.
I’m hoping that today’s action clearly demonstrates our intolerance towards any form of harassment or illegal meddling with individuals who are lawfully conducting their professional duties in London.
All five suspects remain in custody.
In spite of the turmoil, Gadot was recently seen working on set this week, shooting sequences for the tense drama set right in the center of London.
In the midst of all this, I found myself standing amidst the bustling chaos that erupted during my Hollywood Walk of Fame induction in May. The event was marred by protesters engaged in heated disputes, a reflection of the ongoing debate surrounding my latest film, ‘Snow White’, and its ‘woke’ narrative.
In the live-action reboot, the actress portraying the Evil Queen, alongside Rachel Zegler as Snow White, beamed with joy upon receiving an award – however, beyond the boundary lines, a scene of turmoil ensued.
A video, taken by bystanders, shows officers pursuing an individual in a highly charged situation, as allegations surfaced that a supporter of Palestine had taken the flag belonging to a supporter of Israel during a demonstration.
Supporters advocating for Palestine assembled outside the event, displaying banners with messages such as “Palestinians are heroes” and “Long live Palestine.” Notably, Israeli actress Gadot, a former military service member in the IDF, is known for her strong backing of Israel.
An unknown individual was witnessed being apprehended by officers and shoved up against a building, while cries echoed from the onlookers.
It’s been suggested that a potential disagreement may be developing between Gal Gadot and Zendaya (who supports Palestine) due to their contrasting views on the Israeli-Palestinian issue. Notably, Zendaya was absent from the event.
Gal appeared oblivious to the commotion happening beyond, all while smiling alongside her husband Jaron Varsano, their four daughters, and fellow Fast & Furious actor Vin Diesel, along with Wonder Woman director Patti Jenkins.

On Tuesday, Gal opened up to Variety about feeling driven to voice her political opinions following the Hamas-instigated attack on Israel, which took place on October 7, 2023.
After the 7th of October [2023], she prefers not to discuss politics, as she feels it’s not her place as a celebrity to weigh in on political matters. Instead, she focuses on being an artist who aims to entertain and inspire others with her words about the world.
However, on October 7th, as families were forcibly taken away from their homes, their beds, encompassing all ages from young to old, including Holocaust survivors, endured unspeakable terrors, I felt compelled to speak up.
I’m not someone who harbors hatred. Instead, I carry a unique heritage as a descendant of a Holocaust survivor, whose entire family was tragically lost in Auschwitz. This survivor rebuilt his life and established our family from the ground up in Israel. Additionally, on my other lineage, I am the eighth generation of Israeli descent. In essence, I can proudly claim to be a native Israeli.
She expresses her deep concern for humanity and felt compelled to speak up for the captives. She’s hoping for brighter times ahead for everyone. Her desire is that everyone experiences a fulfilling life with prosperity, and has the opportunity to nurture their children in a secure setting.
