Blake Lively spoke about striving to make her children feel proud as she supported Ryan Reynolds’ recent venture.
On Tuesday, the actress, aged 37, posted a sneak peek from the forthcoming National Geographic series titled ‘Underdogs’, which is both narrated and overseen by Ryan Reynolds, who is now 48 years old, onto her Instagram account.
Following Lively, currently involved in a prolonged legal dispute with her It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni, recently provided narration for National Geographic’s ‘Secrets of the Penguins’, a captivating three-episode documentary series that made its debut on April 20.
She shared that revealing the secrets of penguins for National Geographic was one of the best moments of her year, as she posted on her social media.
As we grow older, our efforts increasingly focus on earning respect from our children. That’s precisely what @vancityreynolds is doing by continuing the tradition of family-friendly entertainment with @underdogsnatgeo.

Since the year 2012, the couple known as Lively and Reynolds have been married, and they are the proud parents of four children: James, who is 10 years old; Inez, aged 8; Betty, age 5; and their youngest son, Olin, who turned 2 this year.
Lively also gushed about producer Sophia Travaglia.
I am absolutely thrilled beyond words for producer Sophia Travaglia, who turned a small concept into a tangible reality. From brainstorming, to camping in the wilderness with these adorable creatures, to narration recordings, to marketing… all the way to today. An exceptional producer, leading an outstanding team.
Underdogs is set to premiere Sunday, June 15 on National Geographic TV.
The five-episode series follows animals on the very base level of the food chain.
Elsewhere on her Instagram Blake also joked about her kids not being able to watch her movies.
She posted a video clip from an interview she did with her co-stars Michele Morrone, Anna Kendrick, Henry Golding, Alex Newell, and Andrew Rannells on Another Simple Favor.” This way, the meaning remains the same but is easier to read.
In the clip the cast are asked to name a scene that ‘looks easy but was challenging to shoot.’
Henry jokingly named a scene of him masturbating in the shower.

In the footage, Blake penned an additional note saying, ‘Additionally, I needed to create The Mysteries of the Penguins. This is because my children are unable to view my other films.’ (Note that “The Mysteries of the Penguins” could be a fictional title for simplicity.)
Despite the ongoing legal disputes with Baldoni over allegations of sexual harassation filed in December, Blake and Ryan have managed to keep themselves occupied with numerous ongoing projects.
Last week, Lively introduced a set of three hair and body fragrances under her brand Blake Brown, asserting that Ryan genuinely utilizes these items.
She mentioned that she initially believed he was simply being an exceptional and caring spouse, but it turns out, he genuinely enjoys wearing those items.
The event transpired during a period of discord between Lively and the godmother of her eldest kids, renowned pop artist Taylor Swift, aged 35.
Or more casually:
Lively’s falling out with Taylor Swift, her kids’ godmother, took place at this time. Taylor is 35.
It appears that the singer has ended his relationship with the actress, according to a recent report from DailyMail.com. Additionally, it’s said that their mutual friend, Gigi Hadid, age 30, is also distancing herself from Blake.
Reports claim that Lively is said to have threatened to disclose compromising private messages between herself and Swift if the latter would agree to publicly support Lively during her legal dispute with Baldoni, who is 41 years old.
Last week, I found myself unexpectedly served with a subpoena in the case, despite my efforts to keep a safe distance from the controversy.
‘There is no recovering from this. Their friendship is done,’ the insider said.

Six months have passed since she initiated her legal action against Baldoni, which she started filing on December 31, 2024.
Her lawsuit with Baldoni is now six months old, as it was first filed on December 31, 2024.
The situation unfolded following her submission of a lawsuit, alleging that he had engaged in sexual harassment and fostered a hostile working atmosphere on the film set.
Justin has countered with a lawsuit worth $400 million, involving both the actress and her spouse, as their legal battle, which has become quite intense, is set to go to court on March 29, 2026.
All parties have denied the claims.
