Unlock Epic Games: PS Plus June Lineup and Massive Days of Play Sale Revealed!
For June, the free games available through PlayStation Plus have been unveiled, accompanied by the return of the PlayStation Days of Play sale. This sales event offers significant discounts on numerous titles, some of which are absolute must-plays. Subscribers still have until June 2 to download the May’s free games, which feature the 2024 blockbuster hits such as “Balatro”, “Ark: Survival Ascended”, and “Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun”.
As mentioned in a post from the PlayStation Blog, the free games offered through PS Plus next month include NBA 2K25, Along in the Dark (from 2024), Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, and Destiny 2: The Final Shape. These titles will be accessible starting June 3, with Destiny 2 being available a week earlier on May 28.
The blog post from PlayStation Blog announces that the Days of Play sale on the PlayStation Store begins on May 28 and runs until June 11. While the complete list of discounted games won’t be available until the promotion page launches, this post offers a sneak peek at some of the titles that will be on sale during the event.
PlayStation Plus Games For June
An Expansion To A Popular MMO, A Survival Horror Game, And More
For June, there’s an abundance of free games to choose from. One notable addition is the large expansion for the free-to-play MMO, Destiny 2: The Final Shape, which also serves as the concluding chapter of the long-running game’s Light and Dark Saga. In our top-rated review, Ebaster stated that Bungie has made it easier for players to immerse themselves in emotional and cumulative experiences, even if they haven’t played any previous Destiny 2 expansions, in the final mission that strikes all the right chords.
2024’s Alone in the Dark is a fresh take on the 1992 classic that laid the groundwork for survival horror games. However, this contemporary version presents several distinct differences from its predecessor. Players can choose between Emily and Edward, each with their unique storylines, cutscenes, and levels. Upon release, it garnered mixed reviews, and the studio behind it, Pieces Interactive, closed down due to underperforming sales.
As a movie buff of video games, I’d say:
“In the world of virtual basketball, I’ve just got my hands on the newest addition – NBA 2K25. Developed by Visual Concepts and 2K, this game takes me back to the unforgettable 2016-2017 NBA season, which they’ve named the “Steph Era” in their MyNBA mode.
On a different note, I recently dived into Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, a sequel that feels like it sprang from the same creative mind as Jet Set Radio. This game lets me cruise around a fictional city called New Amsterdam on skateboards and bikes, pulling off some seriously cool tricks. Critics generally love it, but they’ve pointed out its strong resemblance to Jet Set Radio.
Days Of Play Is A Great Time To Pick Up New Games
This Is A Large Sale
This year’s Days of Play sale on PlayStation could be an excellent opportunity for you to grab some games at reduced prices. Among the significant titles being discounted are “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6,” “WWE 2K25,” “Astro Bot,” and “The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered.” While PlayStation frequently hosts sales, Days of Play is one of their biggest annual events, making it a potential ideal time to add these games to your collection.
This summer is an excellent opportunity for PlayStation Plus subscribers, as there are four fresh, free games on the way, along with a massive sale offering significant discounts on numerous games. We hope that with all these discounted and complimentary offerings, PlayStation enthusiasts will discover something to delight in during the summer months.
