The second season of “Peacemaker,” featuring John Cena, is coming to Max later this year with a lot of excitement! This time, the series takes place in the same universe as Superman, and it will introduce several characters from the DC Universe, one of whom is expected to have a significant appearance according to the creator.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, James Gunn, creator of Peacemaker and co-CEO of DC Studios, hinted that viewers can anticipate a substantial amount of Superman and DC Universe presence in Season 2. He even teased a significant cameo, which might show up near the end of the season. It’s plausible that David Corenswet’s Superman could make an appearance, according to Gunn’s statements.
In the first season of Peacemaker, you were introduced to the QUC, or Quantum Unfolding Chamber. This device is further explored in Superman, and it takes center stage in the second season of Peacemaker. The cast of Superman characters expands in this season, with Isabela, Nathan, and Sean joining the mix. As the story progresses, you’ll also meet several other characters from different parts of the DCU and from Superman. Towards the end of the show, there might be a highly anticipated cameo from a very famous character.
More to come.
