Waterloo Road actor says Bridgerton star sister is her “biggest inspiration”
Waterloo Road star Hattie Dynevor has opened up on her bond with her Bridgerton star sister.
Hattie is the little sister of Phoebe Dynevor, known for her portrayal of Daphne Bridgerton in the premiere season of Netflix’s popular Regency-era drama from 2020.
Discussing their background with television celebrities, Hattie mentioned that her mother, Sally Dynevor from “Coronation Street,” has always been incredibly encouraging towards her and her sister’s careers.

As a member of a truly nurturing family, I’ve been incredibly blessed to have my mom and sister standing by my side, offering unwavering support. We thrive on mutual encouragement, making our bond stronger each day.
As a follower, I can’t help but echo Hattie’s sentiments, naming Phoebe as my greatest source of inspiration. Our latest adventure, the Paris Fashion Week excursion in March, is a testament to that inspiration and our shared passion for fashion.
“We’re all really close as well which is so lovely,” Hattie said.
She mentioned that her sister is her greatest source of inspiration, and they attended the Paris Fashion Week together.
“That was amazing. It was so incredible just to watch her, and yeah we had the best time.”
On Instagram, Hattie shared multiple photos from her and Phoebe’s visit to Paris in March. The caption on one of the posts read, “An extraordinary journey with my dearest friend,” accompanied by a hashtag for her sister and a heart symbol.
“Love you !!” Phoebe replied with a string of heart emojis.
In the thirteenth season, Hattie first appeared on Waterloo Road, portraying the role of Libby Guthrie, who is the daughter of history teacher Neil Guthrie, for the very first time.
Fun fact, I too had my beginnings on the very same school drama in season 5, where I debuted as character Siobhan Mailey.
When Hattie was cast, Sally Dynevor expressed her joy on Instagram, applauding her daughter for landing her debut acting role.
@hattiedynevorr has been added to the cast as Libby Guthrie in the production at @waterlooroad, and the soap star is clearly thrilled! What an impressive ensemble of actors and crew!
Waterloo Road airs on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
