Lori Loughlin sparked rumors she was wearing a wig after showing off a new, full, layered bob with long bangs at an event this week.

The actress’s hairstylist, David Robert Naumann, has clarified that the recent change in her hair was a deliberate style choice, not the result of rumors, according to Us Weekly.

When someone commented on Instagram that her hairstyle was a wig, Naumann felt she needed to respond.

‘It’s not a wig. I’d know ;)’ he replied with a heart emoji.

Naumann shared on Instagram that Lori Loughlin had asked for a dramatic new hairstyle, simply writing, ‘Lori got a haircut yesterday.’

Lori Loughlin, reportedly still very upset with her ex-husband, Mossimo Giannulli, was barely recognizable when she appeared at the opening gala for the David Geffen Galleries at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Thursday.

The former Full House star looked radiant in a sparkling silver dress with a daringly high slit. She completed the look with tall stiletto heels.

She got a new look six months after splitting from her husband of almost 28 years, though they haven’t yet finalized their divorce.

According to Page Six, Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli reportedly separated after Loughlin found damaging texts and emails on Giannulli’s phone.
