While great fantasy shows are everywhere, Netflix offers a selection of particularly special ones that are worth checking out.

Thankfully, he’s not alone – he’s got a group of friends helping him, and as they travel, they’re all figuring out these new abilities they’re developing. It sounds like a really cool adventure!

A Tale Dark & Grimm Tells the Twisted Children’s Tales

Many classic children’s stories originate from European folklore dating back to the 1300s. The 2021 Netflix series, created by Doung Langdale and Simon Otto and adapted from Adam Gidwitz’s novel A Tale Dark & Grimm, only lasted for one season before being cancelled.

The animated series A Tale Dark & Grimm reimagines the classic story of Hansel and Gretel, but with a unique twist. The show, which has a respectable 73% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, follows Prince Hansel and Princess Gretel after they leave their fairy tale and enter a more dangerous world, where they meet other characters from Grimm’s fairy tales.

As a total fantasy fan, I truly believe everyone needs a good romantic escape, and honestly, Love Between Fairy and Devil delivers! It’s really earned its 8.4 rating on IMDb – it’s a genuine gem of a fantasy series.

Serenay Sarikaya, known from shows like Fi and Aile, stars as Sahsu, a psychology professor who gets drawn into the world of a legendary creature called Sahmaran. Burak Deniz, from Sahtekarlar and Umami, plays Maran, a mysterious newcomer who unexpectedly enters her life. The series, which premiered on Netflix in 2023, currently has two seasons and a 91% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
