Georgia Tennant Reveals How David Tennant’s Doctor Who Role Keeps Her Feeling Young!

Georgia Tennant humorously mentions that she enjoys the perks of being known as the daughter of her well-known spouse, David, who played her father in Doctor Who.

In the fourth season of the popular BBC fantasy series, a well-known Scottish acting legend, aged 54, first met the English actress, who is now 40, when she was chosen to play the part of his character’s genetically engineered daughter, known as the Doctor.

My husband David was my character’s father on the show – that’s a running joke between us,” she said, explaining that it gives her husband a sense of being older while making her feel younger.

Additionally, the character of the Doctor, portrayed by Georgian-origin and British actor Peter Davison, spanned his role from 1981 to 1984.

In 2011, this pair got married and they have four kids: Olive (age 14), Wilfred (12), Doris (9), and Birdie (5). Additionally, David took on the role of father to Georgia’s son from a prior relationship, Ty.

On Sunday, the actress left the Sunday Brunch studios after her television appearance, looking lively and fashionable.

The Staged star turned heads in a salmon pink co-ord featuring a chic blazer and matching trousers.

She finished off her ensemble with a white blouse and a collection of gold accessories, maintaining an immaculate hairstyle during her outing.

The well-liked BBC personality was caught on camera pausing to give autographs to some fortunate fans before quickly leaving.

Georgia openly acknowledged her feelings following her touching Instagram dedication to the actor, celebrating their seventeen-year relationship milestone since their initial romantic connection.

Sharing a collection of photos spanning their relationship, Georgia expressed affectionately about her partner who is known for his kindness, humor, and unending generosity.

Yet, she seized the opportunity to add some humor to their dynamic, as her husband fell short of winning a BAFTA Television Award for his work in the Disney+ series “Rivals,” where he was nominated this past weekend.

17 years ago, we found our identity as a united entity. I’m incredibly grateful to share this journey with you. My dear, amusing, unyieldingly generous, BAFTA-free love. You embody it all, times X.

The well-respected actor received a nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his work in “Rivals”, yet it was Lenny Jamies who took home the award for Best Actor for his role in “Mr Loverman”.

Although he garnered acclaim for his performance in Rivals and is filming for a follow-up series, ITV’s attempt to establish him as one of their rising stars has fallen short as his recent production has become one of the channel’s lowest-rated shows in quite some time.

The actor hosted Genius Game, which cost ITV more than £2.5million to make.

Contrary to expectations following the investment, the viewership data unveiled recently indicated that on average, approximately 739,000 viewers watched the former Time Lord’s program.
