Kristen Stewart’s new ’80s-set vampire thriller gets another exciting cast update

In simple terms, the upcoming vampire thriller titled “Flesh Of The Gods,” featuring Kristen Stewart, has added another intriguing actor to its roster.

Last year’s announcement revealed that Stewart and Oscar Isaac will portray a married couple, Alex and Raoul, set in the ’80s Los Angeles. Every evening, they make their way down from their high-end penthouse in a skyscraper to immerse themselves in an electrifying nightlife scene.

As I excitedly share this news, it appears that Marvel’s very own Elizabeth Olsen is stepping into the role of the elusive and intriguing character, Nameless, as reported by Deadline.

When Alex and Raoul encounter Nameless and her lively group of partygoers, they find themselves drawn into an alluring, dreamlike realm brimming with indulgence, excitement, and brutality.

The film titled “Flesh of the Gods” is under the direction of Panos Cosmatos, who gained recognition with his 2018 horror production “Mandy“. The script for this movie is penned by Andrew Kevin Walker, best known as the writer of “Se7en“.

Adam McKay, an Academy Award-winner, is set to produce the project, with Betsy Koch, Gena Konstantinakos, and director Isaac also contributing as producers.

Speaking about the movie announcement last year, McKay expressed: “This director, writer, and talented cast, along with vampires and a punk aesthetic from the ’80s – all packed with style and attitude – that’s the film we’re presenting to you now. We believe it offers a unique blend of commercial appeal and artistic flair.

I’m thrilled to share our goal: creating a movie that leaves an impact across pop culture, style, tunes, and the silver screen. Can you feel the enthusiasm?

Cosmatos stated: “Similar to Los Angeles itself, ‘Flesh of the Gods’ resides in the borderland between fantasy and terror. It is not only thrilling but also mesmerizing, offering a high-speed, neon-lit journey straight into the blazing core of hell.

Recently, Stewart graced our screens once more in the critically-acclaimed comedy “Sacramento“, where we see two old pals embarking on an impromptu journey across the road together after years apart.

When carefree Rickey unexpectedly reappears in Glenn’s life, as he is about to become a father, the two old friends set off on an impromptu road trip from Los Angeles to Sacramento in Michael Angarano’s fresh take on the buddy comedy genre.

Additionally, she’ll be teaming up shortly with her collaborator Dylan Meyer on a fresh “humorous take on stoner culture” titled “The Wrong Girls“. This project features an impressive cast including Lakeith Stanfield, Seth Rogen, Alia Shawkat, Kumail Nanjiani, and Tony Hale.

The debut printed issue of Digital Spy’s magazine, “British Comedy Legends,” is available! You can purchase it from your local newsagents or online for only £3.99.
