Simon Pegg will “really disappoint everybody” with Shaun of the Dead reunion
Simon Pegg is all set to potentially leave fans feeling quite underwhelmed with his upcoming collaboration with “Shaun of the Dead” director, Edgar Wright.
Pegg created four works including the films – “Shaun of the Dead”, “Hot Fuzz”, “The World’s End”, and the TV series “Spaced” alongside his co-star Nick Frost. Ever since, audiences have persistently clamored for a follow-up to the zombie comedy-horror.
According to a conversation with Variety, Pegg hinted at the possibility of collaborating with Wright once more, although they’re not planning on creating a sequel for “Shaun.

“So certainly when Edgar and I make our next film, we’re gonna really disappoint everybody.”
During the promotion of the most recent “Mission: Impossible” movie (potentially the final one), Pegg was asked questions about it. Previously, while promoting another film in the series, he had mentioned a potential “Shaun” sequel, although his statements were somewhat more definite at that time.
Whenever I host a live stream on Instagram or any similar platform, people often express their desire saying, ‘It’s crucial that I get to see Shaun of the Dead 2,'” he explained.
And I exclaim, “Absolutely not! You don’t require ‘Shaun of the Dead 2’. Frankly, what you don’t need right now is ‘Shaun of the Dead 2’. It’s finished. Let’s move forward!
He went on to say: “This pervasive immaturity among adults, with supposedly mature individuals debating over superhero fantasies online, while the world struggles with numerous crises in various aspects.
That’s why I believe we are all heading towards trouble. It seems as if no one is willing to mature anymore. Instead, everyone clings onto immaturity.
