There have been some fantastic new shows lately, which means there’s plenty of TV to catch up on if you haven’t already watched it. Additionally, there are more exciting releases coming your way this upcoming weekend. In fact, we’ve been presented with an abundance of options – the BBC’s latest revenge thriller Reunion, the return of ITV’s edge-of-your-seat medical drama Malpractice, and Netflix’s captivating coming-of-age romance drama Forever, are just a few examples of shows that didn’t quite make it onto this list but are still highly recommended. There’s a new show coming to the BBC this weekend, and it’s called Death Valley.

If you appreciate the show Ludwig and enjoy stories about unconventional crime-solving duos, or if you’re simply looking for a fresh, comfortable crime drama, this might be exactly what you’re seeking. It features Timothy Spall as John Chapel, a retired actor known for his role in a popular detective series, who joins forces with DS Janie Mallowan, portrayed by Gwyneth Keyworth, to unravel a baffling murder case.

Death Valley debuts on Sunday 25 May on BBC One at 8:15pm and will stream on BBC iPlayer.

Love Rat

The movie titled “Love Rat” isn’t a brand-new production, but it’s been generating some excitement lately due to its addition on Netflix streaming platform.

In this suspenseful story, we find ourselves following Emma Walters (Sally Lindsay), who has just gone through a divorce. On holiday in Cyprus, she finds herself drawn into a passionate relationship with hotel owner Niko (Gerald Kyd). However, as their romance deepens, it’s revealed that Niko harbors a troubling secret that threatens to shatter Emma’s newfound happiness.
