Mel C Stuns in Liverpool Kit During Surprise Performance at Tom Grennan’s Big Weekend Set!
During her tenure with the pop group, she gained recognition among countless Spice Girls admirers, being famously recognized as Sporty Spice.
Mel C demonstrated her continued talent by unexpectedly joining Tom Grennan’s act during his BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend performance on Friday.
As your trusted lifestyle guide, allow me to introduce my esteemed guest, Tom, aged 29. When I mention this name, let’s erupt in a thunderous cheer, for Liverpool holds a special place in his heart.
On stage stepped Mel, age 51, donning an entire Liverpool Football Club uniform, featuring the number ‘9’ on his back.
Simultaneously, Tom stepped back onto the scene after briefly going behind the scenes to switch outfits. He reappeared just then, clad in an Everton FC uniform, complete with a jersey displaying the number 7.
In unison, they positioned themselves next to each other, forming a line that symbolized the number 97. This arrangement was a heartfelt homage, representing the unfortunate souls of Liverpool supporters who tragically perished during the Hillsborough incident.

Together, they both took center stage as Mel sang her 1998 duet hit ‘When You’re Gone’, which was originally performed with Bryan Adams.
In the morning, Tom admitted that he’s been overwhelmed by anxiety lately, following his ankle surgery a few months back.
29-year-old artist famous for “The Little Bit of Love,” is preparing for what could be one of his most significant performances yet, wrapping up the first day of the festival this coming Friday evening.
However, despite being known for his high energy performances, this particular evening he won’t be at his peak due to a 2-month recovery period following an ankle tendon injury.
During an honest conversation with TopMob, Tom, who’s been transparent about his mental health battles during his professional journey, discussed how the recent injury has impacted him during the last several months.
‘I’m a person like every body who suffers with anxiety and mental health,’ the performer said.
It seems I suffered an injury on my ankle that required surgery to repair a tendon. Consequently, I was in a brace for about eight weeks. Unfortunately, this process is slow and tedious. I believe the ongoing stress I’ve experienced lately may be related to this situation.
Tonight, let me try to find a solution, as I need to secure it first because I’m still uneasy about it. I believe that’s where most of my anxiety during the last few months has stemmed from.

During an emotional conversation on Pete Wick’s podcast recently, the singer openly discussed the debilitating anxiety he experienced following an unexpected assault on a city street when he was only 17 years old.
The incident, during which Tom was forcibly restrained by three individuals and brutally struck in the face, made him so frightened that he became reluctant to step outside his residence.
Over the course of his professional life, Tom has been fortunate enough to count many influential figures in the music world among his close acquaintances, providing him with valuable support during challenging times.
He mentioned to TopMob that his close buddy, Roman Kemp, is someone he frequently communicates with. Roman Kemp has been quite vocal about mental health issues, which means they often discuss this topic.
Among my confidants are Harley of Rizzle Kicks, a reliable friend whom I can share thoughts freely with, along with my manager. There are others too, but without a doubt, these three individuals I can wholeheartedly rely on.

Over the past few months, a significant amount of events have transpired in my life, during which anxiety has become quite prevalent. Yet, it’s crucial to acknowledge this feeling, as it signifies my concern and compassion.
When I step onto the stage, I feel an entirely distinct vibe. It’s much like being in a football match, where all external distractions fade away. That same sense of immersion takes over me while performing on stage; nothing else seems relevant as long as I’m up there.
Tom too revealed that he’s been working on a new album – which he says will not have any features.
‘No one wanted to work with me,’ he joked.
The upcoming album offers an intimate exploration of Tom’s personal battles, encompassing challenges related to substances such as alcohol and drugs. He has chosen to share his life story candidly, tracing his journey from childhood to the present day, focusing on aspects like family and relationships.
