Lady Gaga’s 2013 ‘rude’ red carpet moment with Zendaya goes viral!

Zendaya ran into Lady Gaga on the red carpet of the AMAs in 2013. 

The exchange didn’t go too well. 

The original video of them facing each other has reappeared and is spreading quickly online, causing a stir among fans who find themselves captivated by the intense interaction.

In those days, I found myself standing tall amidst the limelight, much like Lady Gaga, while Zendaya was largely recognized for her captivating performances on the Disney Channel’s Shake It Up.

Zendaya is seen trying to introduce herself to the pop star, but Gaga ignored her. 

In a more challenging situation, it seemed like Gaga passed her microphone to Zendaya, who was only 16 years old at the time, to hold for her.

Zendaya ran into actress Jenna Ushkowitz, 39, who was chatting with Lady Gaga. When Zendaya greeted her with ‘Nice to meet you,’ the singer reportedly known as the paparazzi turned and left.

GaGa was inquired about who would be attending, and she responded by mentioning R Kelly, the artist with whom she had collaborated that year.

Gaga appears quite swamped by the crowd and din, giving a hasty farewell while avoiding direct eye contact with Jenna or Zendaya.

Meanwhile, Zendaya softly remarks, ‘Nice to meet you…’, which may have gone unnoticed by Gaga.

Although it may appear as if Gaga ignored Zendaya, the truth is that red carpet events can be hectic and noisy, making interactions more challenging.

Celebrities frequently pause for interviews on the red carpet, discussing their projects or the reason behind their attendance at the event.

At the time of the event, Zendaya was just 16 years old, and it’s well-known that Lady Gaga tends to be reserved, particularly when it comes to meeting new people – a description that applied to Zendaya at that moment.

Supporters from both sides expressed their opinions about the 12-year-old issue, with one admirer of Zendaya fueling the debate by bringing up the fact that Joker: Follies of Two was a significant disappointment to many.

One Gaga fan thought it was cool when Zendaya held the mic, but felt like Zendaya gets too much praise.)

The Gaga fans continued to pile on.

One person wrote, “It seems like it’s only Zendaya, someone insignificant,” and another commented, “In a non-woke world, Zendaya would receive the recognition she truly deserves.” (This version maintains the original sentiment but is more easily understood and reads more naturally.)

In simpler terms, ‘Lady Gaga bid farewell to everyone, her eyes showed obvious pain as she ended the encounter by saying, “It was nice to meet you.” It seems like she has a lot on her mind and is hurrying to move on to her next task.’

A different fan of Lady Gaga commented, ‘I don’t understand why she took it so seriously; Zendaya wasn’t particularly famous, she was mostly recognized by children.’

A solitary admirer of Zendaya responded to that statement. “Recognized only by children,” but she interacted with that joyful actor in the same manner to snap photos, it seems they’re similar in nature.

It seems you’re correct. If my understanding is right, that individual did tour with Lady Gaga, but it doesn’t mean they are the same person as Lady Gaga.

And finally, someone chimed in to say, ‘I love how angry this makes Zendaya fans.’ 

That was then and this is now and the two stars are in talks to join the remake of Guys and Dolls. 

According to the grapevine, Lady Gaga might take on the role of Adelaide in the upcoming remake, as the casting process for this project is currently ongoing.

Gaga played Adelaide in her high school production of the musical. 

It’s rumored that Zendaya will take on the character traditionally played by Sky Masterson, but in this adaptation, the role has been changed to be portrayed by a woman, similar to the character of Sarah.

Rob Marshall, renowned for his work on the 2002 Academy Award-winning film Chicago, has been linked as the director.
