Don’t Miss Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Hidden Gem Action Movie Coming to Tubi!

Fans of Arnold Schwarzenegger are in for a treat as his lesser-known ’80s action film is set to join the free streaming service next month, which may not seem like a great deal at first glance, but for devoted fans, it’s definitely a win!

Starting from June 1st, you can stream “Raw Deal” on Tubi. This 1986 action flick features Arnold Schwarzenegger as Mark Kaminski, a former FBI agent turned small-town sheriff who is tasked by FBI agent Harry Shannon (Darren McGavin) to dismantle a mafia group. Despite being sandwiched between two of Schwarzenegger’s 80’s blockbusters, “Commando” and “Predator”, “Raw Deal” didn’t fare well at the box office, earning $16.2 million, slightly above its $10 million budget. However, it was praised by critics, with Rotten Tomatoes giving it an 80% approval rating.

After achieving fame as the lead in James Cameron’s film The Terminator, Schwarzenegger became one of the most prominent movie stars during the 1980s and 1990s, starring in numerous classics such as Predator, Twins, Total Recall, and True Lies. Following the premiere of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Schwarzenegger took a break from acting, save for occasional appearances, while he served as California’s 38th governor from 2003 to 2011. Post his time in office, Schwarzenegger returned to acting, starting with a more substantial role in The Expendables 2, where he acted alongside several fellow ’80s and ’90s action stars like Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, Chuck Norris, and Dolph Lundgren.

What’s Next for Arnold Schwarzenegger?

Arnold Schwarzenegger has been relatively low-key in front of the camera since his return as the T-800 in the 2019 movie “Terminator: Dark Fate”. But don’t worry, there are two exciting projects on the horizon for him within the next year. One of them is set to drop soon. The second season of Arnold’s popular Netflix series, which he stars in as Luke Brunner, features Monica Barbara as his on-screen daughter Emma Brunner. In this season, Luke and Emma, both CIA employees, find themselves facing an old flame from Luke’s past, Greta Nelson (portrayed by Carrie-Anne Moss from “The Matrix”), who has become a terrorist planning global destruction. The second season of the series, titled “Fubar: Fk You B*tches and Ride”, was recently unveiled.

Joining Schwarzenegger and Barbara once more in the second season are Milan Carter, Fortune Feimster, Travis Van Winkle, portraying CIA agents Barry, Roo, and Aldon respectively, as well as Aparna Brielle, who takes on the role of NSA data analyst Tina. Fabiana Udenio, Andy Buckley, Jay Baruchel, Barbara Eve Harris, Scott Thompson reprise their roles from Season 1 of FUBAR, and Guy Burnet joins the cast as Theodore Chips, a former MI6 agent who lends a hand to Greta Nelson, played by Greta.

Arnold Schwarzenegger will appear in an upcoming Christmas film titled Reacher. The lead actor of this Amazon MGM Studios production, Alan Ritchson, plays a small-time crook named Vance. Vance is tasked by Santa to help recover a stolen sack filled with presents. With his daughter, Santa, and a ragtag team, Vance must execute the biggest heist in his career to save Christmas. The cast also includes Awkwafina, Liza Koshy, Kyle Mooney, Adrian Martinez, Jane Krakowski, and Ken Jeong for this action-comedy holiday movie.

Raw Deal arrives on Tubi on June 1.
