Understanding the Piñata Party Community Event in Squad Busters

Starting from May 23rd, 2025, I’ve been taking part in an exciting community event that lasts for eight consecutive days. Each day, five piñatas mysteriously appear, one of which is golden and offers a higher chance of substantial rewards such as Hero Points. These challenges are not to be missed!

Working together with fellow gamers, you break open these piñatas, earning valuable rewards such as Coins, Hero Points, and even Hero Mortis himself. By teaming up with the gaming community, you can gather Piñata Sticks from matches to unlock shared milestone prizes for everyone.

The gathering also includes a unique team-up event titled Piñata Party, which makes it simpler to accumulate Pinata Sticks. These sticks go towards a communal progress bar, and once filled, they unlock achievement rewards such as Chest Triplers, Coins, an exclusive Mortis dance emote, and up to 500 Hero Points.

The milestone rewards for Piñata Sticks Collected are listed below:

As a Summoner class character, Mortis calls forth Bats from fallen foes and nearby gravestones. He can then mobilize all his summoned creatures in a powerful charge known as “Monster Charge.” Whenever his Bats inflict damage, Mortis regains health. Therefore, the more bats he commands, the more formidable he becomes.

Monster Charge (Power)

Every now and then, Mortis has the ability to make all his summoned minions advance. Additionally, he summons 3 extra bats as his initial maximum is 5, which increases to 7 over time. Whenever these bats come into contact with adversaries, Mortis receives healing.

Tombstone (Trait)

Mortis possesses a special bond with Gravestones, as he can quickly conjure Bats from them when in proximity. This ability not only amplifies his swarm but also recharges his healing abilities and accelerates the activation of his Monster Charge. As upgrades are acquired, this bond strengthens, expanding the size of his Bat horde and enhancing the swiftness of his charge skill.

Turbo (Speed Boost + Attack)

Mortis’ Turbo ability significantly increases his speed and builds up a potent charge. Once deactivated, it discharges a wide-area attack that deals damage and pushes back adversaries. As you improve him, the Turbo ability recharges quicker, and at level 3, he begins with an additional charge.

Your best strategy to acquire Hero Mortis is by partaking in the daily activities during the event. Crack open pinatas daily for an opportunity to discover him hidden within.
