Victoria and David Beckham Show Unity at TIME100 Dinner Despite Family Feud with Brooklyn

On Thursday, Victoria Beckham and her spouse, David Beckham, presented an elegant duo at the TIME100 Impact Dinner held in New York City.

The 51-year-old fashion designer and the ex-soccer player, also 50, appeared together sporting stylish attires that beautifully harmonized with one another.

In the midst of their continuous family dispute involving their son Brooklyn, who is 26 years old, the pair presented a harmonious image during the gathering, grinning and striking poses together.

Previously, the elated spouse couldn’t help but express her delight as the athlete made it onto the Time100 Philanthropy roster.

At dinner, fashion icon Victoria styled her ensemble with sleek black pointed-toe boots and let down her brown hair in soft, wavy curls.

She opted for voluminous lashes and a nude lip for the occasion.

Meanwhile David looked handsome as ever in a black suit and tie.

He rocked a light neatly trimmed beard for the night.

Beckham gained recognition for his long-standing advocacy and charitable work, notably through his involvement with UNICEF over several decades.

At the dinner the pair posed with NBA star Stephen Curry, 37, and his wife Ayesha Curry, 36.  

The duo gained recognition for their Eat.Learn.Play. Foundation, an initiative aimed at promoting literacy among underprivileged communities in Oakland, California.

Football star Russell Wilson and actor Lin-Manuel Miranda were also in attendance. 

Previously, Victoria took to social media to express her heartfelt admiration for David, as he was recently recognized on the Time100 Philanthropy list not long after celebrating his 50th birthday.

In her social media post, she enthusiastically declared: “I’m so thrilled about you, @davidbeckham! Your dedication to pouring your heart into all that you do, and your unwavering passion for charitable work and assisting others, never ceases to amaze and motivate me daily.

In a recent conversation with TIME, David expressed that he feels there’s something lacking in his life due to his growing conflict with his son Brooklyn and daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz.

On Tuesday, David, formerly a player for Manchester United and England, shared some thoughts about the void left by his thriving football career.

He expressed his feelings as follows: “I yearn for daily workouts and weekends filled with games. Each morning, I rise and sense a void. At 50, the desire to play persists within me, echoing in my mind.

In another part of the conversation, David and his spouse Victoria shared some details about their workout regimen, as well as who puts in more effort.

David expressed: “I made Victoria feel like she’s putting in more effort, but I strongly believe it’s me who’s actually working harder. Keep this a secret from her.

Victoria mentioned: “David works out for an hour, while I go for an hour and a quarter. So, you can decide how much time we’ll spend.

On Monday, Brooklyn narrowly avoided running into his father, David, during a trip to London that he made by air – yet it appears they remain distant due to their persistent familial disagreements.

Meanwhile, during the photo session, Brooklyn’s father, David, was approximately a half-mile away at the Chelsea Flower Show, engaged in conversation with King Charles III and Queen Camilla.

On Monday morning, Brooklyn flew into London and attended a photo shoot from 9 am until approximately 4 pm.

Instead, he chose not to reside at the Beckham residence in Holland Park; this abode was just a stone’s throw away from the filming location.

David and Victoria appear to be deeply saddened due to a recent rift with their son Brooklyn, who resides in the U.S. with his spouse and Victoria’s affluent relatives.

On Monday, Victoria posted a family picture on Instagram that included herself, her father, Tony Adams, and their shared four children. The image was accompanied by a heartfelt caption celebrating Tony’s recent birthday: “We both adore each one of you so deeply!

The unmarked picture additionally showcases Victoria’s mom, Jackie, standing between her children Brooklyn, aged 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13, with Brooklyn on either side.

David appears to be eagerly trying to reconcile with his son, as he’s concerned that past events might be repeating, given his strained relationship with his father Ted, which reached a breaking point in 2005.

Recently, David expanded the geographical scope of his Mother’s Day tribute in the U.S., by mentioning Brooklyn, as he specifically honored Victoria, the mother of his kids, in one of his posts.

Over the weekend, I took to social media to connect with my son, as whispers of our family dispute persistently simmer.

In the picture, Victoria was snuggled with her four children, not long after the birth of their daughter Harper, who added a delightful touch to the scene.

Next to the picture, David penned: “Wishing a joyous Mother’s Day to the most wonderful mother. Also, a warm greeting of Mother’s Day to our friends in the United States.

In the meantime, Victoria posted a picture of a stunning floral arrangement that Cruz and Jackie Apostel, aged 29, had given her as a gift.

Currently, David and his elderly father, Ted (age 77), enjoy a strong bond, but in the past, they barely spoke to each other.

Following Ted’s brush with death in 2007, the incident ignited a desire for reconciliation between them, leading to their reconnection, and since then, they have maintained a strong bond.

Currently, it appears that David is concerned that history might be reoccurring as he experiences a disagreement with his eldest son Brooklyn, who is shared by him and Victoria.
