Boy Meets World’s Will Friedle Stuns Fans: Announces He’s Becoming a Grandfather at 48
Fans are taken aback as they learn that actor Will Friedle, famous for Boy Meets World, is expecting a new addition to his family.
But it’s not a baby for him and his wife Susan Martens, rather his step-daughter Lexi’s baby.
Lexi, 35, is expecting her first child, making the former child actor a grandfather at 48.
He shared the joyful announcement during his podcast titled “Pod Meets World,” alongside co-hosts Danielle Fishel and Rider Strong, and on this particular episode, they were also joined by former director and stage manager of Boy Meets World, Lynn McCracken.
‘I’m about to be a grandfather, actually,’ Will said during the episode.
Absolutely! My stepdaughter is on the verge of giving birth to my first grandchild, and I couldn’t be happier. In other words, I’ll soon be a proud grandfather, or as some might say, I’m about to become a poppy!
Danielle expressed her excitement saying, “I’m really looking forward to it being fun,” and Will echoed her sentiment by saying, “I’m also excited because it’s going to be fantastic.
Fans reacted with shock that will is old enough to be a grandfather.
1) A spectator penned, “Pardon me, could you be my father? Wow, does that make me seem so old?” and another remarked, “I didn’t realize he had offspring.
The first person commented, ‘He’s really looking spry,’ and the second one captured the general sentiment, ‘Well, I guess that makes me feel a bit older.’ (Maintains the meaning but uses more common and easy-to-understand phrases.)
Finally, someone wrote, ‘We are
In September 2016, Friedle tied the knot with Susan. At the time they started dating, Lexi was 21 years old.
In a recent podcast broadcast, Will confessed that he does not celebrate Mother’s Day with his spouse.
Hold up, do I need to buy something for every month? Isn’t it just once a year for Mother’s Day like with Sue? Is that what I’m supposed to do?” he questioned, after Fishel and Strong mentioned he should celebrate his wife on the holiday.
Rider inquired, “Is it ‘Happy Mother’s Day’?” To which Friedle replied, “I doubt it. I’m unsure!

Wow,” Strong responded. Fishel then asked, “Hey Will, didn’t you wish your mom a Happy Mother’s Day today? Do you observe this holiday for her in any way?
Friedle restated what he said to his mother, and Strong advised him to express appreciation for his wife on that particular day.
Following his co-hosts’ surprise, the podcast host attempted to clarify his statement, noting that Martens’ daughter was of adult age. This prompted Fishel to respond emphatically, “Age doesn’t change the fact that she’s a mother.
Friedle then just admitted, ‘I know, I never think about it, I guess.’
In February, they had a chat with one of their fellow ex-stars from “Boy Meets World”: Maitland Ward, who portrayed Rachel McGuire in the sitcom.
Maitland has since made a career for herself as a pornographic actress.
In the airing on February 23, Danielle, aged 43, directly inquired from Maitland, who is now 48 and works in the adult film industry, “Suppose we launch our podcast, Pod Meets World, around 2022. Could a broader question be, do you have any animosity towards us?”
Maitland stated, “No, I don’t harbor hatred towards you. Instead, it seems to me that perhaps you dislike me, as your lack of communication with me during ‘Girl Meets World’ was painful.

Initially, the acting partners delved into the reasons behind their falling out. This was primarily due to misunderstandings on Facebook and the fact that they hadn’t built a genuine friendship while working together on the set.
They also argued over Maitland talking badly about them in public.
Maitland shared about her trip to the set of Girl Meets World and claimed that Danielle had overlooked her, as she believed they were on friendly terms.
Maitland explained that there seemed to be a certain vibe regarding the matter at hand. There appeared to be tension between us, and he found himself puzzled about it all. He wasn’t sure if perhaps he had given the impression of trying to hog the spotlight… but honestly, he was genuinely perplexed as to why things wouldn’t work out well for us instead.
Danielle offered an apology, admitting that she wasn’t upset with her, but rather was swamped by numerous emotions during filming, causing the misunderstanding.
Instead, Maitland expressed a different viewpoint, stating, ‘It seemed to you that I was receiving a great deal of attention during that period, and by retreating into my own corner, I was stealing the limelight from you.’
