On Wednesday, May 21st, Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) posted a new track titled “ALIVE” featuring NBA Youngboy on Instagram, and it includes a sample from Carti’s “CRANK”. Soon after, Carti released his own version of the song under the title “ALIVE”, which he shared on his @opium_00pium page, stating “This is my song Lil Bra @ye.” (Note: ‘Lil Bra’ is a term of endearment or respect in certain contexts)

Approximately six hours after, Carti revisited Instagram to post “MORE OF THIS,” labeling the fresh track as “THIS IS PRETTY SIMPLE.
