LLC has debuted their tranquil, escapade-themed game titled “Shin chan: Shiro & Coal Town”. This game is now accessible on Android and iOS devices via Crunchyroll’s Game Vault. Originally unveiled for the Switch in February 2024 in Japan, it was subsequently released in Asia in May, followed by a global PC release in October 2024.

In this game, you will explore a charming, winter-kissed town named Coal Town, which is nestled in Akita Prefecture. The story follows the adventures of Shinnosuke, more commonly known as Shinchan, as he moves between this enigmatic town and a peaceful village in Akita. This captivating slice-of-life adventure is based on the cherished series by Yoshito Usui.

In the narrative, it’s me who finds myself on an unexpected journey when my father, Hiroshi, receives a job relocation close to his homestead. This triggers a move for our cherished Nohara family to a quaint countryside village, nestled near Hiroshi’s beloved elders. I am utterly captivated by the game’s stunning portrayal of the serene rural ambiance it evokes.

Embarking on an unexpected voyage aboard a mystical train, my adventure between two intriguing destinations unfolds. As a longtime fan of the Crayon Shinchan series and films, I can’t help but feel thrilled at the prospect of mastering insect-collecting and fishing from my grandpa.

There’s a wealth of experiences waiting for you! You can go fishing for both common and exotic species in the rivers of Akita, or gather insects in the nearby groves and forests.
