Keira Knightley and Daniel Craig, who co-starred in the 2005 movie “The Jacket”, were recently spotted together during their children’s school drop-off.

It’s rumored that Daniel Craig, the ex-James Bond actor at 57, and Kiera, aged 40, are enrolling their kids at a private school located in North London.

Keira’s spouse, musician James Righton, is deeply engaged in school events, performing in the Christmas production, and his excitement mirrors that of Daniel and his Academy Award-winning partner, Rachel Weisz.

‘Keira and James are very into their children’s school,’ a source tells me. 

‘They’re constantly eager to participate, and that enthusiasm seems to be contagious for Daniel and Rachel. Since their children are in the same grade, it makes things more convenient.’

Yet, hope sparked within me when I learned that Amazon Prime has recently taken over the James Bond franchise, giving me a glimmer of anticipation for what’s to come next!

There’s a lot of chatter going around, trying to guess which actor might take on the famous James Bond tuxedo now that Daniel Craig has given up the role following the release of the last 007 movie, No Time To Die.

Various candidates have been mentioned for the role following Craig’s announcement, ranging from well-known figures like Idris Elba from the show “Luther” to less familiar faces such as Scottish actor Stuart Martin.

However, a fresh contender has emerged as the leading candidate for the role of James Bond, with the highly-anticipated film drawing nearer by the day.

It’s Theo James, the actor known for The Divergent Series, who is widely favored at age 40, as suggested by both Ladbrokes and Coral.

Previously, this British actor has shown great skill in portraying complex, ethically gray characters that bear some resemblance to James Bond, as seen in “The White Lotus” and “Guy Ritchie’s The Gentlemen.

A few years back, Theo was among the top contenders for that role. However, his chances seemed to diminish following an interview he had with The Guardian in 2024.

He shared with the media outlet: “Many people are intrigued by the idea of playing Bond due to its significance in British cultural heritage, but truthfully, I don’t think that role would suit me.

I believe there might be more suitable candidates for the position. To be frank, it could be quite alarming… you’d essentially be stirring up a hornet’s nest (Pandora’s Box is a Greek mythological symbol of unintended consequences).

Lately, there’s been renewed talk connecting the 40-year-old actor with the iconic tuxedo role, following a series of other contenders such as Henry Cavill and Aaron Taylor-Johnson being mentioned as possible choices.

At the moment, Theo is at the forefront of the competition, with betting odds of 6/4 favoring his chances. This places him ahead of Cavill (3/1), Taylor-Johnson (7/2), and Jack Lowden (8/1) who are also in contention.

Theo is currently most likely to win, according to Ladbrokes’ odds, followed by Cavill, Taylor-Johnson, and then Jack Lowden, respectively.

In terms of the potential contenders for Coral’s list, Theo James is priced at 6/4, followed closely by Henry Cavill at 3/1. Aaron Taylor-Johnson and James Norton are each offered at 7/2, while Jack Lowden stands at 12/1.

A shift occurred in the favorites less than a week ago, with Theo emerging as the front-runner, following Henry Cavill, the 42-year-old Superman actor, who had recently taken the lead in the bookmakers’ rankings.

Cal Gildart from Ladbrokes mentioned that Henry Cavill’s lead in the odds for taking on the role of Bond didn’t persist for long, as Theo James is now considered among the shortest contenders to inherit the globally recognized “license to kill.

The initial assumption was that Barbara Broccoli had chosen Aaron Taylor-Johnson as her pick for the Bond character; however, it’s believed that producers Heyman and Pascal prefer selecting their own 007 instead.

It’s reported that Amazon executives are pondering potential cities for the upcoming movie launch, a project that insiders speculate will hit theaters toward the end of the following year or possibly in 2027.

Next year, it seems that a ban on filming in Central London may be enforced. As a result, potential alternative shooting spots are being explored, and Liverpool is rumored to be at the top of the list based on recent reports from The Sun.

A source confided to the press: “It’s likely to annoy fans of the Bond series, who worry that Amazon’s involvement with the 007 franchise could result in significant alterations.

‘But Liverpool is a well-known alternative to London for film-makers.

It can be found in a wide variety of films, such as The Batman, Captain America, and the Harry Potter series. Notably, it often serves a dual purpose by representing different global cities.

As a devoted fan, I want to clarify that, while Liverpool might play a significant role in the backdrop, the tale isn’t strictly confined to this vibrant city. However, keen observers from Liverpool might just catch glimpses of their city center in the scenes.

Amazon was reached out to by TopMob regarding the speculation that Liverpool could serve as the location for the upcoming James Bond film.
