Ke Huy Quan, the brilliant actor behind the smash hit Everything Everywhere All At Once, delivers another compelling performance as Marvin Gable, a real estate agent with a hidden past as an assassin. The film currently stands at a 19% rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, but I’m hopeful that it may find its audience and prove its worth over time.

Could we discuss why “Love Hurts” might eventually become a beloved cult movie? Even though it received mixed reviews from critics, its audience rating of 61% on Rotten Tomatoes indicates a significant divide in opinions. Additionally, the film gains momentum through the charisma of its leading actor, Ke Huy Quan, who has already proven his worth in other cult classics like “Goonies” at the tender age of 13.

Since the release of “Everything Everywhere All At Once” in 2022, Quan has seen something of a resurgence in his career.
