Tom Cruise discussed his famous $126 Christmas cake in a new interview on Wednesday.
As a die-hard admirer of mine own, I’ve been privileged to savor the heavenly taste of Tom Cruise’s legendary coconut Bundt cake for over three decades now. But let me be clear, this decadent dessert isn’t handed out willy-nilly; it’s a rare treat reserved only for the select few VIPs graced with his presence. And as much as I wish otherwise, future servings of this culinary masterpiece are never guaranteed, so consider yourself fortunate if you ever get a taste!
Notably, a select group of renowned celebrities from the entertainment industry have been chosen, such as Tom Hanks, Glen Powell, and Angela Bassett.
Currently, Dave Berry, aged 46, from Absolute Radio, found a way to become an irritant for his well-known neighbor.
Dave mentioned that each year, his neighbor, Alex Zane, receives a cake, yet he consistently declines to give a slice of it to Dave.
The radio host mentioned that the individual is included in the esteemed group of people Tom Cruise supposedly bakes cakes for, but he’s incredibly annoying about it. Every year, without fail, he posts about it on Instagram, asking to join the list. However, he never gives me a piece, only films and quickly consumes it himself.

Later on, he inquired of Tom if he could be included in the roster purely to irritate Alex. To this, Tom responded enthusiastically: “Absolutely! Irritating Alex sounds fantastic. Count me in! Let’s proceed with the plan.
As a lifestyle aficionado, I’d like to share my delight over this exquisite treat: a sumptuous coconut cake creation priced at $126 per serving, masterfully crafted by Goldbelly. It boasts a luscious ring of moist coconut cake generously dotted with delectable white chocolate chunks. Sandwiched within lies a velvety layer of cream cheese frosting, while the pièce de résistance is a sprinkle of golden toasted coconut flakes on top. Indulgence never tasted so good!
The initial disclosure about Tom Cruise’s well-known Christmas cake was made known through an interview conducted with Kristen Dunst back in 2015.
‘[Tom] sends me a cake every Christmas,’ she told Stylist magazine at the time.
‘It’s so good – a coconut cake with white chocolate chips. It gets eaten within a day in my house.’
In a different phrase, Kirsten, known for her role in “Interview with A Vampire” alongside Tom, made an appearance on “The Graham Norton Show” in 2016, where she shared stories about something she called “the Cruise cake.
‘He gives me this cake every Christmas,’ she explained.
The dessert we refer to as the Cruise Cake is simply an exceptional coconut cake. In fact, it’s the best coconut cake I’ve ever tasted during my lifetime.

Some celebs have been on Cruise’s cake list for decades, while others come and go.
In the previous year, it was disclosed that Brooke Shields was taken off the recipients’ list for the first time in a decade.
At that moment, the actress shared with People, she’d been on the list for quite some time, enjoying a solid decade of experiences, and receiving the delicious coconut cake annually.
Initially, there were three – them, Suri, and Katie. However, over time, both Suri and Katie were absent, leaving only Tom.
‘Then it went from just Tom for a while, but not every holiday. And then the cake stopped.’
She pleaded, “I really want to make it onto that cake list again. That’s the best cake, Tom. I truly need to get back on the list.
In 2022, Glen, one of the stars in Top Gun: Maverick alongside Cruise, disclosed to Jennifer Hudson that he often throws a get-together for his closest friends where he provides the food and drinks.
‘It is the most delicious cake you’ve ever had,’ he shared.
Friends who’ve given it a go are absolutely smitten with it! They can’t wait until December 1st to ask, “Hey, has it shown up already?
‘So now I have a party at my house where I’ll have the Cruise cake. It’s my Cruise Cake Party.
Additionally, I plan to extend invitations for some to sample my dish, but please remember not to overindulge. It’s important that I manage the number of guests to ensure everyone gets a taste, and no one comes back for more right away.
Cobie Smulders, who acted alongside Cruise in Jack Reacher: Never Go Back in 2012, was also fortunate enough to receive the role.
In a chat with Jimmy Fallon on his late-night show in 2019, she mentioned that the dessert stays frozen in her freezer until around March.

As a committed enthusiast, I gradually nibble away at this delightful item, and it’s amazing – I can’t quite put my finger on why, but it’s simply irresistible. Interestingly enough, I don’t typically have a strong affinity for sweets, yet it’s hard to resist.
Stars who have previously received the accolade are the likes of Graham Norton, Jon Hamm, Hayley Atwell, Cary Elwes, Jimmy Fallon, James Corden, both Elle and Dakota Fanning, Miles Teller, Rosie O’Donnell, Cobie Smulders, and Jay Ellis.
It’s not just Hollywood celebrities who receive Tom Cruise’s cakes; he also sends them to producers, reporters, and high-ranking officials.
This year, Empire Magazine announced on social media that they had received the Bundt.
On November 27th, I communicated with X and said: ‘Season’s greetings everyone – today marks Tom Cruise Cake Day here at the Empire office!’
Karen and Eric Doan, the mother-and-son team behind the bakery where the cake is made, have expressed their gratitude for Tom’s yearly generous donations.
Eric shared with Yahoo in December 2020 that this year has been quite a challenging journey for him. In the early months of March and April, he had doubts about whether his business could survive. However, he is currently spinning with energy as things seem to be going well now.

He added that Tom’s order was ‘one of the things that kept them alive’ during the pandemic.
‘There were years they kept us in business,’ he said.
As Karen explains, it was Diane Keaton who made the introduction between Tom and the cake, a connection that occurred during his marriage to Katie Holmes.
She shared with ET that Diane and Katie held a competition to determine who knew about the finest cake. Tom was chosen as the judge, and he found himself smitten by the delectable coconut Bundt cake. Since then, that’s become part of their story.
