At the Live Odyssey VIP Premiere held at The Stables Market in Camden, Julia, aged 78, shared with TopMob her observation that numerous actors are eagerly anticipating their major opportunity, emphasizing that Paul has appeared in a multitude of productions.

After gaining popularity through his role in Normal People in 2020, Paul has since secured several prominent roles, such as starring in the upcoming 2024 blockbuster sequel, Gladiator II.

Julia shared her perspective on the casting of Barry Keoghan and Paul Mescal by saying: “Indeed, he’s everywhere! But isn’t that great, coming from Liverpool? We have talented actors, and they can all communicate fluently here.

Sam the Director disclosed that all four movies, collectively known as The Beatles’ Four-Movie Cinematic Experience, are scheduled for release in the same month. As he presented his main actors on stage, he made this announcement.

Each movie will zero in on a different member of the band. As per the director, these films are considered by Sony’s film head Tom Rothman as the initial cinematic experience designed for binge-watching in theaters.

Mendes declared that instead of producing a single movie, we’ll be creating four films about the Beatles. This could provide an opportunity for a deeper understanding of who they were.

Mendes stated, “The Beatles significantly altered my perspective on music. I’ve long been striving to create a film about them.

In 2024, the filmmaker expressed his pride in narrating the tale of the most remarkable rock band ever, and his eagerness to question conventional ideas about going to the cinema, as reported by People.

At Cinemacon, Sam expressed his view that the tale of The Beatles was “overwhelmingly vast for a single movie,” and he preferred not to transform it into a television show.

Sam went on to share that the four films will be released ‘in proximity’ with each other.

‘Frankly, we need big cinematic events to get people out of the house,’ the Skyfall frontman added.

He shared with the crowd, “We needed to find a method to retell the grand tale for a fresh audience.” He further emphasized, “Rest assured, there’s still much unexplored territory out there, and I believe we’ve discovered an approach to accomplish just that.

On stage, the performers spoke the songs from Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, ending with a synchronized bow, much like the Beatles.

For the very first time, The Beatles and their Apple Corps. company are allowing a scripted movie to access their entire life story and music rights.

The movies are being made by Sony Pictures and Sam’s Neal Street Productions company.

Last year, Mendes proposed a plan for creating four movies centered around the group, and he impressed Sony’s executives Rothman and Elizabeth Gabler with his vision.

Earlier this year, the team behind Skyfall shared with Deadline that their project pitch in Los Angeles around Christmas was received with overwhelming excitement everywhere.

The unique factor that set Sony apart from other proposals was primarily due to Tom and Elizabeth’s unwavering enthusiasm for the concept and their dedication to showcasing these movies in a fresh and engaging manner on the big screen.

Earlier, he had been honored with an Academy Award for Best Director for his 1999 project “American Beauty”, and gained recognition for his work on the Bond movie “Skyfall” in 2012, as well as for the war epic “1917”, which was released seven years later.

Over the past few years, Barry’s career has soared, landing him notable roles in Saltburn and The Banshees of Inisherin.

Paul achieved widespread recognition through his work on the BBC show “Normal People” and has since become a familiar face, securing the starring part in the upcoming sequel to “Gladiator,” directed by Ridley Scott, last year.

18 different Beatles biopics have been made for both cinema and television since the band first formed. For instance, “Backbeat” from 1994 concentrated on the life of guitarist Stuart Sutcliffe, while “Nowhere Boy,” released in 2009, focused on John Lennon’s upbringing.

2021 saw the debut of the eight-hour, three-part Disney+ show, titled “The Beatles: Get Back,” directed by Lord of the Rings filmmaker Peter Jackson.

The movie footage and audio recordings totaling 210 hours (60 hours of film and 150 hours of audio) from the initial ‘Let It Be’ film, documenting the creation of the album with the same title that came out in May 1970, were handed over to Jackson. He was the director and producer for this project.
