Personally, I must confess that the supernatural action flick, R.I.P.D., didn’t quite hit the mark for me or many others. Despite Jeff Bridges’ captivating portrayal of an undead Wild West sheriff, which brought some entertaining moments to the table, the film fell flat with both critics and viewers.

On Rotten Tomatoes, it garnered a mere 13% approval rating from critics based on 103 reviews, while audience feedback on Popcornmeter was only slightly better at 38%. The general consensus among reviewers seems to be that the movie is too simplistic and predictable to fully satisfy.
