Liberty Poole’s Bold Bikini Message: Embrace Your Body, Stretch Marks and All!
On Tuesday, Liberty Poole flaunted her captivating figure in a vibrant pink swimsuit, aiming to convey an empowering body-positive message.
25-year-old former Love Island contestant posted a fiery video on Instagram, showcasing her stunning physique as she made her way towards a swimming pool while wearing a daring swimsuit.
Even though she appeared just as luminous as usual, she openly disclosed her deepest doubts in the video, expressing her thoughts about feeling unprepared for summer and not meeting societal beauty ideals.
Liberty seized the moment to convey a potent message on self-acceptance. She emphasized that every body is suitable for a swimsuit and encouraged her audience to embrace and appreciate their own skin.
At the beginning of the video, it was titled: ‘Self-Doubts: I feel everyone is scrutinizing my appearance at this moment. It appears I’m not beach-body ready.’
At the outset of the video, it was labelled: ‘Inner Critic: People seem to be critiquing my looks currently. I don’t seem fit for summer.’
Or even more informally:
The video opened with: ‘What if they’re thinking… I’m not beach-ready? That’s the thought going through my head.’

I won’t be comfortable wearing a swimsuit just yet, as I’d like to reduce some weight to minimize the appearance of my cellulite and extra flesh. It’s not about fitting societal beauty ideals, but rather about feeling more confident in my own skin.
Smiling confidently at the camera while basking in the sunlight, she subsequently altered the text on her video to say: “The truth: Every body is a swimsuit body. Confidence is the most beautiful garment one can wear.
‘It’s natural to have stretch marks and cellulite; they don’t diminish your worthiness. People focus more on their own bodies than yours, so live your life confidently. Embrace the warmth of the sun on your skin, exactly as it is, because you deserve that pleasure.’
In the caption, the celebrity noted: “A friendly reminder that various body shapes will all radiate beauty in swimsuits this summer. So, have fun and cherish the skin you’re in!
Liberty received an abundance of appreciation and compliments from her supporters, who admired her as a ‘gorgeous inspiration for young females.’
As a fervent admirer, I couldn’t help but express my thoughts in the comments section: ‘Absolutely breathtaking, no matter the form or scale! You have my undying affection ❤️❤️’; ‘Simply phenomenal!! An inspiring figure that I wish for my daughter to emulate as she matures xx’.
1. Here’s the kind of person we should look up to:
2. You’ve got a stunning silhouette! Never let anyone make you doubt that! Keep on shining with girl power, it’s awesome! X.
I’m absolutely thrilled to see you standing tall against negativity, it’s truly inspiring! You’re a radiant beacon of beauty and grace that serves as an extraordinary example for young women everywhere. X
Or in the first person:
I can’t help but admire your resilience in the face of adversity, you’re simply stunning! Your strength and elegance make you an ideal role model for young girls, leaving me in awe. X
You’re naturally attractive just the way you are – none of us were designed for perfection. It’s important to accept and love ourselves exactly as we are ❤️”.

Absolutely! Let’s keep reinforcing this truth: Overcoming societal conditioning requires regular reminders. To everyone in my circle, regardless of shape or size – petite, tall, slim, curvy; you are all stunningly beautiful!
Meanwhile, as other renowned friends lauded the celebrity, Daniella Harold (from EastEnders), Marnie Simpson (of Geordie Shore) and Cally Jane Beech (also from Love Island) expressed their admiration as well.
As singer Rebecca Ferguson exclaimed, “You look fantastic ❤️”, and Chloe Crowhurst, a Love Island participant, chimed in with, “You look incredible x”.
Later in the month, Liberty responded to offensive internet bullies who had targeted her with body shaming remarks.
In response, she posted another captivating photo of herself in a bikini, taken during her vacation in the sunny Mexico. In the caption, she shared an honest remark aimed at her critics.
In a straightforward manner, Liberty expressed in her statement: ‘I chose to counteract the recent negative comments about bodies on social media by spreading positivity, happiness, and emphasizing that any body can be considered a “beach body”.’
She added: ‘Enjoy your vacation, for soon enough, people won’t recall the shape your body used to be, whether it’s in years or even days from now.’
Earlier on TikTok, Liberty posted a video where she stood profile-wise in front of a mirror to display her figure.

In the video, I could be seen playfully patting my partner, Joshua Raybould, on the backside as we shared a hearty laugh.
She labeled the video: ‘Here’s me, typically a size 10-12. While I may not have a perfectly flat stomach, that’s not what truly matters.’
‘Everybody is different, I’ve always been a bit curvier and I shouldn’t be body shamed for it.’
She created it as a reaction to an unkind remark left on one of her other videos by a troll, who said: ‘Work on your portion control.’
Liberty expressed her intention to leverage her reality TV influence to advocate for body positivity, having struggled with self-doubt and insecurities personally.
In an interview with Closer, she confided, “At about age 14, I would often find myself browsing through Instagram, where I’d see countless beautiful women appearing flawless. As a young teenager, I always felt I didn’t measure up to their beauty.

Throughout my teenage years, I’ve consistently strived for self-improvement, a pursuit that has remained with me ever since. Reflecting back, I recall standing before the mirror and thinking, “My nose seems unusually large,” often comparing myself unfavorably to the beautiful girls on social media.
The hurt from being betrayed made me even more determined to protect women against online harassment, as I wouldn’t want anyone else to experience the way I felt when someone I trusted let me down.
From Birmingham, she gained prominence during the 2021 season of Love Island. Notably, she parted ways with her screen partner, Jake Cornish, a few days before the finale.
She went back with hope to participate in the 2024 version of the show, yet unfortunately, she didn’t make it again.
