Hailey Bieber openly shared that she feared she could pass away during the difficult labor of their son, Jack, last year.

In August 2024, the 28-year-old model gave birth to her single child with husband Justin Bieber (aged 31), yet she encountered some alarming difficulties during the delivery process.

At 39 weeks, Hailey started experiencing leakage of amniotic fluid. Consequently, she needed to be artificially induced for labor. The celebrity was administered medication to stimulate contractions, while simultaneously, a balloon device was inserted into her uterus to aid in its dilation process.

Despite happily welcoming her son following an 18-hour labor, her struggles persisted as she subsequently faced a postpartum hemorrhage. Regrettably, Hailey confessed that at times during this ordeal, she contemplated whether she would make it through.

Hailey expressed her concerns by saying, “Given that this complication might lead to death if not promptly addressed, which she described as ‘a bit unsettling’, Hailey confided: ‘I have full faith in my doctor, entrusting my life to them. This gave me peace knowing they would never let harm come to me. However, I was bleeding profusely, and it’s hard not to think about the possibility of death.’

As thrilled as she was to take her newborn home safely, Hailey shared about the process of adjusting to her post-pregnancy physique. She acknowledged that it took time and understanding to accept that her body might not return to its previous state right away, using the phrase “give herself some grace” instead of “bouncing back”.

She recognized that her hips have broadened and her breasts have grown larger, yet she’s come to terms with the fact that her body is no longer the one it once was.

During a revealing chat, Hailey opened up about struggling with adjusting to this ‘new version’ of herself amidst the speculations concerning her union with singer Justin.

People are worried about the couple because they often appear emotionless in public, and it’s been rumored that some of Hailey’s well-known companions have advised her to distance herself from the artist, as his actions have reportedly been deemed unacceptable by them.

She expressed her struggle by saying: ‘Going through postpartum is the most delicate phase I’ve experienced in my life, and learning to adapt to this new version of myself isn’t easy… Add to that checking the internet daily where people speculate about our relationship, saying things like “They’re getting divorced” or “They’re unhappy”: It’s a real mind-bender. I can’t fully express how crazy it feels living this way.’

After not appearing to be happy at all, Hailey expressed her feelings following Justin’s outburst during the celebration of the Toronto Maple Leafs game against the Florida Panthers in Game 7 of the NHL Eastern Conference Semifinals.
