Domenica Calarco Slams Ella Ding for Monetising Her Pregnancy Announcement
Domenica Calarco, a reality TV personality from Married At First Sight, criticized her ex-friend Ella Ding for publicizing her pregnancy through a promotional post.
On Tuesday morning, Ella shared thrilling news on Instagram, accompanied by a set of pictures that included an affirmative Clearblue pregnancy test result.
In a place that balances recovery and ambition, our upcoming story unexpectedly found us, she wrote as a caption for her post.
Oh my goodness, Baby Palermo! You’ve truly sweetened our tale and brought us the most delightful news of 2025 – a momentous occasion that’s left me simply overjoyed! And as if it wasn’t already exciting enough, I couldn’t help but share this heartwarming news with all my fellow fans using the special hashtag #ClearblueConfirmed. What an unforgettable time for us all! 💙👶🏼🎉
The announcement was reposted by the influencer.updates.au Instagram page.
Domenica took to the comments section to slam Ella for ‘monetising on her pregnancy’.
‘Even has to monetise her pregnancy announcement. Some people will never change. Wow,’ she wrote.
As I excitedly share the joyous news of my upcoming parenthood, I find myself reflecting on the past two months. This significant milestone follows closely after my former closest confidante, collaborator on our podcast, and fellow Married at First Sight star, Domenica, announced her own pregnancy journey. Both of us embarking on this incredible adventure together, though in different ways, underscores the powerful bond that life’s events can create between people.
In March, Domenica shared a sequence of videos which included her demonstrating a positive pregnancy test, an ultrasound scan, and informing her loved ones about the news.
The 32-year-old posted a touching message saying, “I’ve been away, busy with what could be my most significant work to date……A baby.
She added: ‘Due September 2025 #pregnancyannouncement #pregnancy #pregnant.’
Following her public statement, Domenica has privately revealed to Daily Mail Australia that she plans to raise her child alone, as she clarified the speculations about her relationship status with Jarod Bogunovich, the Bondi skater.
On a Sunday in August 2024, Domenica and Ella decided to end their podcast, Sit With Us, amidst whispers that the decision may have stemmed from personal disagreements between them.
However, in a recent installment of Domenica’s fresh podcast titled “Mad Woman”, she shed light on when the disagreement between her and Ella initially arose.

Dom explained that the strain in their friendship commenced around the time the controversy from the Sit With Us incident arose, and he was alluding to the contentious discussion the podcast hosts had with the controversial figure from Married at First Sight 2024, Jack Dunkley.
A disagreement arose following an interview between Domenica and Ella, which stirred up controversy due to Jack’s past comments towards Jonathan McCullough, where he suggested that Jonathan should silence his wife, Lauren Dunn, at a gathering.
The interview sparked a passionate reaction from another media figure, Abby Chatfield, which added more focus on the podcast hosts under review at that moment.
On Sunday, Domenica expressed that she and Ella had significantly different thoughts and perspectives regarding how to manage the situation. As for myself, I preferred a direct approach, I wasn’t interested in ignoring the issue and hiding from it instead.
During that period, Domenica’s social media feed was overflowing with messages from followers urging her to speak about the podcast debate.
During this time, Domenica opted against making a statement, but reassured numerous fans that she and Ella would address the recent controversy “soon”.
On Instagram, Domenica and Ella stopped following one another, signaling the conclusion of their approximately four-year-long friendship.

They affirmed they’ve stopped talking, which only adds more fuel to the speculation about their falling out, a topic that has been buzzing for quite some time now.
Previously known MAFS celebrities acknowledged the matter, revealing that their previously unbreakable connection had ended.
In a conversation with Daily Mail Australia in September 2024, Ella shared, “I don’t have anything to add, but of course, I hope she does well. Goodbyes can be difficult, but they are often necessary for new beginnings.
In response, Domenica agreed, stating, “Indeed, we stopped following one another. I’m at a loss as to where to start.
