Married At First Sight star Ella Ding has announced she’s pregnant with her first child.
The former reality TV star, 31, took to Instagram on Tuesday morning to announce the exciting news.
Last week, bursting with excitement, I snapped a collection of images featuring myself and my beloved husband, Guy Palermo – the man I wedded just a year ago. In these photos, I proudly showcased my budding little belly, a secret we had been nurturing together, as well as the reassuring symbol of a positive Clearblue pregnancy test.
In a place that’s both restorative and productive, the upcoming phase seemed to have already picked us out, she wrote as a caption for her post.
‘Baby Palermo you’ve already made our story sweeter & given us the best news of 2025 yet.’
Shortly after her wedding, Ella revealed she was planning on having kids.
She mentioned in the video that she’s taking her time before having kids, adding that she doesn’t have a clear plan or idea about it at this moment.
‘In an ideal world, I plan to start having children within the next 18 months to 2 years; however, I can’t predict exactly how soon that might happen.’
Ella and Guy shocked fans when they said ‘I do’ in a surprise wedding ceremony back in April 2024.
Previously known MAFS celebrity shared a post on Instagram to verify that they have already tied the knot, mere weeks following their announcement of getting engaged.
She revealed that they had a private wedding before their reception, which took place at the Sophia venue within The Prahran Arcade in Melbourne, prior to the event.
Following a clandestine wedding, the newly-wed couple unveiled their marital status to their friends by announcing it at Ella’s 30th birthday party, which had a Great Gatsby theme in the evening.
At the party, they astonished everyone with a touching video that unfolded the news. The video began by displaying old footage of Ella as a child, followed by moments from their wedding ceremony.
Upon hearing the joyful news, their friends were utterly taken aback and wept with emotion, since the initial celebration transformed unexpectedly into a wedding ceremony.
Sharing the exciting news with everyone, Ella and her companions posted numerous photos from that memorable occasion on their individual Instagram accounts.
