Lily Allen gives massive hint about possible Australia tour for West End Girl album: ‘I’ll be there soon’

Lily Allen strongly hinted at an Australian tour on Saturday, suggesting she’ll be performing in Australia later this year to promote her new album, West End Girl.

The 40-year-old pop star accidentally revealed the news while chatting with Tyrone Pynor and Abby Butler on Triple J radio.

The singer revealed her intentions towards the end of the interview, after Abby playfully asked if she had any plans to return to Australia.

I can’t share any specifics right now, but I will be traveling to that part of the world before the year is over,” Lily said.

She expressed her gratitude to her Australian fans for their continued support and assured them that she wouldn’t keep them waiting much longer for a visit.

‘Thank you all of Australia for your enduring support over the years,’ she said.

I know I’ve been away, and I apologize for that. I’ll be back fairly soon.

Lily Allen will begin touring in the UK in March and then head to the US in April, with plans to visit Australia later in the year.

She last performed across Australia in February 2019, with shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth as part of her No Shame tour.

Lily was recently spotted with Jonah Freud at a Paris Fashion Week event, shortly after the pair enjoyed a romantic getaway to Italy, suggesting a new romance is blossoming.

After recently ending her marriage with David Harbour, the singer has become close to Jonah over the past few months.

Her new boyfriend is the son of businessman Matthew Freud and his former wife, Caroline Hutton. He’s also the nephew of the famous painter Lucian Freud, who is now deceased.

Lily and Jonah have been seen dating recently, and they’ve now taken their relationship a step further with a trip to Italy.

The couple is said to have stayed in a Hotel Locarno suite costing about £800 (or AU$1,579) a night.

Lily and the writer were spotted having coffee together at Sant’ Eustachio Caffè in Rome.

A source told The Sun they saw Lily Allen in Rome, and it was a passerby’s daughter-in-law who first spotted her, exclaiming, “Oh my God, it’s Lily Allen!”

‘We did a double take, and it was definitely her, she was with Jonah Freud.

‘They were just having a coffee and a cigarette together.’
