Robert Pattinson Says Having a Child with Suki Waterhouse Made Him a Completely Different Person
In the film “Die, My Love,” Robert Pattinson and Jennifer Lawrence portray a couple taking on parenthood for the first time, premiering at the Cannes Film Festival.
On the day following a misfortune at the film premiere of the psychological thriller on Saturday, the duo candidly discussed how being parents had influenced their professional endeavors during a press conference on Sunday.
Pattinson, 39, welcomed his daughter with partner Suki Waterhouse, 33, in March 2024.Â
He shared with reporters that having a baby surprisingly provides an enormous reservoir of energy and motivation post-delivery. This energy is unlike any other.
Lawrence, aged 34, in agreement, confirmed. She, along with her husband Cook Maroney, share their three-year-old son Cy and a newly born child.
She mentioned that having kids completely transforms your existence, redefining every aspect of your life. She described it as both challenging and awe-inspiring.
Apart from influencing my choices about whether, where, and when I work, they have been instrumental in my learning process as well, added the Academy Award recipient.
As she went on, she shared, “I hadn’t realized how deeply I could feel, and given that my work is centered around emotions, it has exposed me to a vast emotional landscape. It’s as if I’ve become unusually sensitive, almost tender like a blister.
She shared with reporters that her children have had a profound impact on her life, improving it significantly, and have sparked creativity within her. She wholeheartedly advises anyone who aspires to be an actor to consider having children.
Following his co-star’s remarks, Pattinson expressed, “It’s essentially the same as Jennifer stated. I’m merely here to offer my support.
Since her birth, she’s sparked a fresh perspective in my professional life, and let me tell you, there’s no denying that she transforms you overnight, like magic!
Lawrence and Pattinson take great care to ensure their kids lead a relatively private life, shielding them from the glare of public attention.
neither of them (Pattinson and Waterhouse) are active on social media, and they haven’t disclosed the name of their daughter as of now.
Lawrence has kept the identity (name and gender) of their recently born second child a secret so far.

The Hunger Games star and her husband are also parents to three-year-old son Cy.Â
For it’s part, Die, My Love, was welcomed into the world with open arms.Â
The movie where Lawrence portrays a young mom battling post-partum depression after giving birth, received a prolonged nine-minute applause from the audience.
The movie adapted from Ariana Harwitsch’s 2017 book with the same title, directed and scripted by Lynne Ramsay, is vying for the prestigious Palme d’Or award at Cannes.
