This undoubtedly has many fans eagerly anticipating the resolution of his tale in the 2016 movie that initiated his screen journey. Given that this is one of the finest Star Wars series ever produced, it comes as no surprise that it has propelled one of the best Star Wars characters to the peak of the Disney+ rankings, nearly a decade after its premiere.

Andor’s journey has been nothing short of amazing, and its second season has held the top spot on Disney+ TV rankings for weeks now. Some might say that the series finale leaves the tale unresolved, leading many fans to revisit Rogue One, be it their first time or their seventh viewing.

In the days leading up to the events of “Rogue One”, the final episodes of “Andor” concluded. With Cassian finding himself on Yavin 4, resolved to join the fledgling Rebel Alliance, and Disney+ conveniently offering a prompt asking if viewers would like to “continue watching” and “Rogue One” being just a simple click away, it’s no wonder that many have opted to do so and complete the storyline.

Unlike traditional Star Wars stories emphasizing lightsaber battles, this series delves deeper into behind-the-scenes espionage and bureaucracy, crafting a mature narrative that stands out and merits its position within the franchise.

Currently, the focus for Star Wars is returning to the big screen, and future projects might learn a thing or two from the successes of Rogue One and Andor within the franchise. The duo of The Mandalorian and Grogu will grace cinemas the following summer, revealing Pedro Pascal’s character’s storyline, and potentially setting up the upcoming big-screen conclusion of the Mandalorian era, with a film from Dave Filoni scheduled in the coming years.

After that, we can expect “Starfighter”, a fresh Star Wars tale penned by Shawn Levy, featuring Ryan Gosling.
