Chris Hemsworth Surfs Like a God
Aussie A-Lister Chris Hemsworth wowed fans again on Saturday, this time for his surfing prowess.
41-year-old Chris Hemsworth, known for his role as Thor, posted a video on Instagram where he can be seen surfing the waves in Abu Dhabi.
He showcased his impressive surfing skills at Surf Abu Dhabi, which boasts as one of the biggest artificial wave pools globally.
The actor, undaunted by the large venue, gracefully maneuvered his board over the tops of giant waves with ease.
At some stage, Chris skillfully maneuvered himself into a big barrel, smoothly traversing the watery conduit.
‘Another epic trip to Abu Dhabi!!’ Chris captioned the clip.
‘Spent 4 days surfing in the dessert [sic] eating good food and all round good vibes.’
The post sparked a whirlwind of astonishment among Chris’ massive audience of 58 million, with one person commenting: “Even Thor putting down his MALLET.
Another, keeping the superhero theme going, added: ‘Damn, Thor rips harder than Aqua Man.
One admirer subtly expressed their hidden envy towards Chris’ versatile skills by saying, “It’s just not fair that you excel in so many things more than I do.
1. Instead of saying, “At least I can build arcades. Don’t you dare take that on next,” they could say, “I can construct arcades, so don’t even think about challenging me with something else.”
2. Instead of saying, “Desert surfing. For people who refuse to be normal even on vacation,” they could say, “Sandboarding in the desert. It’s for those who refuse to conform to the ordinary while taking a break.”
As a dedicated admirer, I couldn’t help but spot an oversight in Chris’ post – a seemingly innocent misspelling of the word ‘desert’.
They playfully asked, “Are we discussing sweets? Is it a cake or ice cream?” To which someone responded with a chuckle, “It’s reassuring to know I’m not alone in my spelling errors @chrishemsworth
It’s no secret that Chris often finds himself among the ocean waves, as he regularly pursues his love for them in his hometown, Byron Bay.

Indeed, my family and I have a knack for finding joy even in challenging weather conditions. Lately, despite the heavy downpour of a tropical storm, we seized the moment to introduce our kids to an exciting activity called grass surfing. It was a thrilling experience that added a touch of adventure to an otherwise rainy day!
In March, during Tropical Cyclone Alfred, Elsa uploaded a video on her Instagram Stories showing her kids enjoying “surfing on grass”.
In a single video, Chris and Elsa are spotted under heavy rainfall, both clad in raincoats with hoods, observing as one of their sons tries to “surf” through the soggy lawn.
A different video captured a bunch of lively children, all dressed in vibrant wetsuits, coasting down a slope with their finless mini-boards.
Chris and Elsa share three children, daughter India Rose 12, and twin boys Sasha and Tristan, 10.
Elsa recently opened up her decision to relocate to Australia with husband Chris Hemsworth.
In 2014, they bought an expansive 4.2-hectare property worth $7 million. Later, they built a lavish $50 million mansion on this land instead.
In conversation with News Corp, she expressed that their previous residence, Los Angeles, felt overly ‘confining’ for them.

‘When you’re in Los Angeles, work suffocates you,’ she said.
Elsa mentioned that Byron Bay was a peaceful escape from the continual buzz of business talk that’s common in Los Angeles.
In that location, every discussion, including the street signs you pass by, revolve around the realm of film and its related business, she explained.
She continued: ‘It can make you lose perspective.’
It was a sentiment that Hemsworth shared in an interview with Modern Luxury back in 2020.
He mentioned that while he cherishes his acting career, being immersed in it all the time can start to feel a little overwhelming.
‘It’s enjoyable to engage in discussions with individuals who aren’t fully immersed in the same sphere as I am.’
Hemsworth added that Byron Bay provided a calmer environment in which to raise their children.
