Arg’s Back! Seen After Jail Sentence for Pushing Ex, But There’s a Twist!

For the initial time since his suspended prison term, James Argent was recently spotted following his altercation involving pushing his ex, Nicoline Arthursson, down some steps in Spain.

Previously known for his role on TOWIE, the 37-year-old entertainer took the stage alongside his band, ‘Arg Band’, during a charitable gathering that took place at the Connaught Rooms in London on Friday evening.

At a charity boxing event called ‘fight night,’ which was held in honor of the Wickers Charity, a video posted on Instagram showed James smartly dressed in a black tuxedo while interacting with fans.

On stage, James appeared unfazed by the world as he joyfully danced and crooned tunes like Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up” from 1987, showing no signs of concern.

He was also seen posing for a snap with the partygoer and a fellow performer on the night. 

TopMob has contacted James’ representatives for comment.  

Previously, it had been announced that the singer would make his comeback onstage for his initial public performance. Additionally, there were reports suggesting that he might issue a public declaration.

As reported by The Mirror, Arg is expected to perform at an event tonight [Thursday], having remained out of the public eye since the recent developments.

According to the report, sources suggest that he might express his perspective because he’s looking to leave the event behind.

The lead vocalist frequently takes the stage at Olivia’s La Cala, a restaurant in Marbella that belongs to his friend Elliott Wright, aged 44, and is also the frontman for The Arg Band.

TopMob contacted a representative for James for comment at the time.

After being accused of domestic violence, James finally spoke up, addressing the rumors that he may have slipped back into old habits.

Previously known TOWIE celebrity received a six-month suspended jail term and a two-year protective order from his ex-girlfriend, Nicoline, following an aggressive argument that led to him pushing her in Spain.

Spectators are wondering if James’s actions might be a revival of his past struggles with substance abuse (drugs and alcohol), an issue that led him to multiple spells in rehabilitation centers, a fact well-known from his days as a reality show star.

To clarify for TopMob alone, James assures us that he remains sober, and the recent police incident wasn’t caused by a return to substance use.

James expressed that he hasn’t fallen back into old habits, maintaining his sobriety for three years and four months. He is deeply saddened by the recent events.

On Tuesday evening, it came to light that James had shoved his nine-month girlfriend down some steps outside her apartment in Costa del Sol. This incident led him to acknowledge charges related to domestic violence.

Over time, James has faced challenges with weight problems and cocaine dependence. He’s had two instances where drug overdoses came dangerously close to taking his life, as he fought against the internal battles he was facing.

However, the notable figure from Essex has remained abstinent from alcohol and drugs since the year 2022, focusing on recovery, leading a pure lifestyle, and preserving a balanced weight post gastric band surgery, by emphasizing healthier choices.

In previous discussions, he’s openly addressed the challenges of fame, such as feelings of isolation, embarrassment related to his eating disorder, and the sudden exposure following his appearance on the reality show TOWIE.

In a 2020 conversation with OK Magazine, James opened up about the origins of his drug addiction. He shared that he began frequenting nightclubs when he was 18 years old.

It wasn’t until I joined TOWIE (The Only Way is Essex) that I found myself performing at nightclubs across the country almost every night, which led to increased consumption of alcohol and a growing reliance on drugs. Some of my friends had previously dabbled with drugs, but this was when my own use began.

About a year and a half into my time on TOWIE, those close to me understood that I was dealing with a personal issue and battling an addiction.

Additionally, he mentioned that his past addictions have negatively impacted his romantic connections, such as with his ex-girlfriend and previous co-star from TOWIE, Lydia Bright.

In simpler terms, James explained that when Lydia ended their relationship, he was taken aback and felt intense emotional distress. To cope with this heartache, sadness, and also with self-doubts about his appearance on TV, he turned to heavy drug use as a means of escape.

Nine months prior, the musician was in a romantic involvement with model Nicoline. Unfortunately, during the May holiday weekend, an altercation that turned violent transpired between them.

On Wednesday, I found myself stepping into the limelight for the first time since a troubling turn of events concerning my partner’s domestic violence charge. It was an unusual day, marked by the scrutiny of the media and the weight of public opinion.

She was spotted out in public, donning a white T-shirt and sunglasses, with her gaze fixed on her phone, mere hours following the announcement of James’s arrest.

The incident occurred following a report by an eyewitness to TopMob, who stated that James was overheard shouting, leading the ex-Miss Sweden to be pushed from her Spanish apartment door, resulting in her falling down some stairs.

In simpler terms, James admitted to accusations of domestic abuse and was given a two-year prohibition order that could lead to his imprisonment if he attempts contacting Nicoline. Onlookers reported that Nicoline appeared badly injured after the incident.

An unidentified individual recounted that they overheard a significant disturbance emanating from the Costa del Sol residence, jointly owned by James and Nicoline, and now remembers witnessing a heated argument of a violent nature taking place there.

They mentioned that they were taking their pets for a walk when, all of a sudden, they overheard a man shouting menacingly. They noticed this individual tossing items from the balcony of a neighboring residence. The man’s yells made them feel scared.

In a state of shock, I watched as the door to his home creaked open, revealing a moment that would be etched into my memory forever. A man, with cold eyes, tossed a woman outside, sending her tumbling down the steps in a harrowing fall. Her screams echoed through the air, a sound that still haunts me today. The sight of her lying there, in pain and desperation, was a scene I wish I could unsee. All I could do was pray for help to arrive swiftly, as the woman’s cries grew fainter with each passing moment.

It’s understood that James ‘continued to throw things’ as Nicoline ‘lay injured’ on the steps.

The eyewitness went on to say: ‘Things took a turn for the worse rapidly, leaving us frightened and uncertain about our next move. A second woman showed up to help the injured woman who was sprawled powerlessly at the bottom of the stairs. Just then, the man shoved the door open and bolted away.’

In just a few seconds, people who cared quickly gathered around the woman to offer aid, and the police showed up promptly.

The witness said Nicoline ‘appeared to be physically and emotionally devastated.’

They expressed profound astonishment, and later learned that Nicoline’s mother had come and taken her to the hospital.

This woman truly requires fairness; her spirit has been shattered beyond repair. It’s rare to witness someone as deeply wounded emotionally as she is.

In a horrifying turn of events, I bore witness to an appalling act of cruelty. Fortunately, there were numerous onlookers who stepped in to assist Nicoline throughout that distressing ordeal.

Following a fall down two steps, Artursson’s cries for help drew attention from neighbors, prompting them to contact the police. It appears she required medical attention at a hospital.

Shortly following the event in La Cala de Mijas, Argent was apprehended by authorities and confined to police custody for numerous hours. Later, he was brought before a court in Fuengirola.

At the court hearing, he confessed to a charge related to domestic violence. A source close to the matter informed The Sun that their romantic relationship lasting nine months has ended. The judge imposed a two-year protective order on him, restricting his proximity to Artursson, keeping him at least 250 meters away.

In the courthouse, Artursson listened as Argent confessed to the charge and received a six-month suspended sentence. Additionally, Argent was ordered to attend a rehabilitation program focused on gender violence.

Artursson has remained in Spain, while Argent is believed to have flown back to Essex.

On Wednesday, following her arrest, she was seen out and about again, dressed casually in workout attire, busily typing on her mobile device.

In the event, her mother Pernille Artursson arrived to offer her assistance, having stood by her side since the unfortunate encounter with her former partner, Argent.

Artursson covered her face with a pair of large sunglasses during their outing.

My friend shared with The Sun that Argent is deeply regretful, explaining: “He admitted having an argument with Nicoline and attempted to resolve it.

As a die-hard admirer putting words to paper, I’d say, “I, James, admitted to shoving Nicoline, causing her to tumble. I feel deeply regretful for the incident that unfolded, yet I maintain that my intentions were never malicious.
