Remember Monday’s Dramatic Eurovision Finale Performance Revealed

The Eurovision Grand Final is just a day away.

On Friday, the British country-pop group Remember Monday shared details about what fans can anticipate from their upcoming performance before the grand event.

To the BBC, the girl band hinted at a captivating show featuring “dramatic flair and stagecraft,” leveraging their experience in musical theater.

When asked what to expect, Lauren Byrne, 30, simply said: ‘Drama and theatrics.’

Holly-Anne Hull, 30, chimed in: ‘Pink and girly.’

While Charlotte Steele, aged 30, added more intrigue: Indeed, we’d prefer it to remain a mystery until the event itself.

However, it’s certain that we’re drawing from our experience in musical theater, and we sincerely hope that the audience appreciates both the staging and design aspects as much as we do.

Holly added: ‘Oh, and our outfits are pretty cute too…’

In the Grand Final, the band Remember Monday, consisting of Charlotte, Holly, and Lauren, will take the stage to perform their hit single “What The Hell Just Happened?” as they strive to claim the prestigious Eurovision 2025 trophy.

As a devoted follower of the renowned trio famous for their harmonious social media hits, I’m thrilled to announce that we’re about to present our most daring production ever. This grand spectacle is under the watchful eye of creative director Ace Bowerman, who has collaborated with luminaries such as Dua Lipa, Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran, and Blackpink, ensuring a spectacular show for all!

It marks the biggest performance of the band’s career to date.

Ever since they were named as the UK’s representative for the Eurovision Song Contest in March, Remember Monday have eagerly taken up the mantle of British ambassadors. They’ve been on a fast-paced European media tour to generate worldwide interest and attract a fresh global audience.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I’ve had the privilege of gracing various stages before Eurovision events, mingling with fellow artists, serenading crew members on an Icelandic fishing vessel, and even lending my voice to a performance at the Swiss embassy. It’s been quite a journey!

Elsewhere during the interview, the band shared their impressions of other contestants.

When asked if her fellow competitors had shared any advice or insights with her, Holly enthusiastically replied, “Miriana Conte from Malta is truly impressive!

She went on saying: “Since she was once part of a girl group, there’s a small bond between us. In fact, after the Eurovision wraps up, we’ve been discussing a girls’ trip to Malta, as we’re all big fans of hers!

During our conversation, I mentioned that Claude from the Netherlands is incredibly sweet-tempered. He has a tranquil demeanor and showed great kindness towards us prior to the Amsterdam Pre-Party event.

She stated: ‘We all relaxed in the dressing room, discussing how wild this adventure has been!’ or simply, ‘She said we all hung out in the dressing room, talking about how insane the experience has been!’

Lauren mentioned that Sissal, who hails from Denmark, was equally impressive. They had a great time interacting with her during their stay in Copenhagen.

She added: ‘This year, we’re really enjoying the female contestants; there’s a strong sense of female empowerment among them.’

Elsewhere in the interview, the trio also reminisced about their first memories of the contest.

Speaking candidly, it’s no secret that I’m deeply passionate about the Eurovision Song Contest – a love affair that goes back as far as my earliest memories, and has since become somewhat of a signature trait for me.

She went on to say: “It’s a tradition for us to organize Eurovision gatherings. Each guest selects a participating country, prepares food and drinks representative of that nation, and we make a grand celebration!

Among all Eurovision artists, my top pick is undeniably Alexander Rybak, the Norwegian representative from 2009, who triumphed with his captivating song “Fairytale.” There’s no denying that I adore it!

Holly commented: “Scooch’s song ‘Flying The Flag (For You)’, released in 2007, has been stuck in my mind ever since. As my parents worked in aviation, this tune held a special place in our hearts and served as one of our family favorites!

Lauren mentioned: “Wow, I can’t recall my initial Eurovision moment, but among my favorites is undoubtedly Conchita Wurst, the extraordinary winner of 2014 with Rise Like a Phoenix. Simply amazing!

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I’m frequently asked about my good-luck trinkets before major events, and when it comes to Basel, I can’t help but reminisce about the enchanting memento our group was presented with on the day we were announced as the UK’s Eurovision representative.

She mentioned that on the day we found out we would represent the UK at Eurovision, someone gave us a small memory box as a token of good luck.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d say, “We’ve filled our travel bag with adorable knick-knacks along the way during our European promotional journey, and it’s likely that we’ll be carrying these treasures with us.

Originating from their regular practice sessions held every Monday, the band that was initially established at school in Farnborough, Hampshire, rose to fame following their appearance on The Voice UK in 2019.

They will be the first girl group to represent the UK at Eurovision in more than 25 years.

On Tuesday, the first semifinal was held, where out of the initial 15 competitors, a total of ten qualified for the Grand Final.

These countries advanced to the next round: Norway, Albania, Sweden, Iceland, the Netherlands, Poland, San Marino, Estonia, Portugal, and Ukraine. On the other hand, it was unfortunate that Slovenia, Belgium, Azerbaijan, Croatia, and Cyprus were eliminated from the competition.

On Thursday, the second semifinal unfolded, where an additional 16 nations competed fiercely to secure a place in the final round.

In all, Australia, Montenegro, Ireland, Georgia, Czech Republic, and Serbia were among the six countries that were knocked out.

Currently, there are 26 countries left in the competition: Norway, Luxembourg, Estonia, Israel, Lithuania, Spain, Latvia, United Kingdom, Finland (twice listed), Denmark, France, Italy, Poland, Germany, Greece, Malta, Switzerland, Portugal, Romania, Iceland, Sweden, and Albania.
