Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta will be able to join Pokémon GO Max Battles
Get ready for these two new powerful Pokémon coming during GO Fest.
Niantic has disclosed additional information about the impending unveiling of Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta during this summer’s Pokémon GO Fest gatherings. These exclusive versions will make their initial appearance at the three live GO Fest events, followed by a global release through Pokémon GO Fest: Global.
In the game, these forms will function similarly to Mega Evolutions. This implies that your current Zacian and Zamazenta will gain access to this new ability as well. Additionally, we now understand that these Pokemon will possess unique moves and can participate in Max Raids.
Learn essential facts regarding the incorporation of Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta in Pokemon GO.
You will use Crowned Sword and Crowned Shield energy to unlock the new forms
Today, the key detail unveiled is that in order to obtain either Crowned Sword Zacian or Crowned Shield Zamazenta, you’ll require a unique form of energy. This energy appears to be a blend of Mega Energy and Fusion Energy we’ve encountered previously.
You can acquire energy similarly to how you obtain it for Necrozma or Kyurem. Firstly, via a special research quest line, followed by capturing Zacian and Zamazenta during Pokémon GO Fest Global events through raids.
When you amass sufficient energy (1000 units), ensure that either Zacian or Zamazenta learns the charged attack Iron Head. Once this is done, you’ll be able to trigger its transformation into the new form.
Delightfully, the mechanism for changing between forms of a Zacian or Zamazenta deviates from fusions. Once a Trainer switches a Zacian or Zamazenta’s form initially, they have the freedom to change that form multiple times without requiring any energy.
Featured Attacks
As a gamer, when my Zacian and Zamazenta undergo transformation, they’ll each unlock their exclusive Charged Attacks. For Zacian, it’s the powerful Behemoth Blade, while Zamazenta unleashes the forceful Behemoth Bash. Both of these are Steel-type Charged Attacks.
These moves are very powerful and will be really strong in Pokémon GO.
GO Fest means Zacian and Zamazenta can join Max Battles
As a gamer, I’m super excited to share that my favorite Pokémon, Zacian (with the Crowned Sword) and Zamazenta (with the Crowned Shield), will have a unique privilege to join Max Raid Battles! Even though they can’t Dynamax or Gigantamax, having them on my team will definitely give me an edge in those intense battles. It’s like having two exclusive weapons that only I can use, and that makes the experience even more thrilling!
In Max Battles, the regal swords Zacian (Crowned Sword) and Zamazenta (Crowned Shield) can enhance their Behemoth Blade and Behemoth Bash moves, resulting in increased damage – similar to regular Max Attacks.
Furthermore, they’ll gain the ability to upgrade and utilize Guard and Spirit abilities in Max Battles too.
Here are excellent choices for incorporating into your battles within Max Raids, and they’ll undoubtedly be valuable assets to your Pokémon GO inventory. Interestingly, they’re particularly suitable for conflicts with raid significance as well.
