Amazon Studios, under its MGM banner, just revealed a fresh preview photo featuring Nicholas Cage and Christian Bale for their upcoming movie titled “Madden“.
The upcoming movie about football is called “Madden” and it was written and directed by David O. Russell. It’s based on the life of legendary NFL coach John Madden, who is portrayed by Nicolas Cage, while Al Davis, the Raiders owner, is played by Christian Bale. In addition to them, John Mulaney takes on the role of Trip Hawkins (the founder of Electronic Arts who introduced the long-running Madden video game), Kathryn Hahn plays Virginia Madden, and Sienna Miller stars as Carol Davis. The film chronicles Madden’s incredible journey from his successful collaboration with Al Davis and the Raiders, to developing the Madden NFL game, and eventually becoming one of football’s most legendary voices.
As a die-hard fan, I’m excited to share that an upcoming biopic will chronicle Madden’s extraordinary odyssey – from summiting the coaching zenith with the Raiders, to discovering fresh meaning with EA. Sadly, Madden left us in late 2021, but EA Sports immortalized his legacy by featuring him on the cover of Madden NFL 23. Get ready for the release of Madden NFL 26 on August 14!
