Aimee Lou Wood’s Shocking Post-Lotus Move: Joins Angelina Jolie in High-Stakes Heist Film!

Recently, the actress Aimee Lou Wood from “The White Lotus” has been garnering attention due to a disputed Saturday Night Live skit, and now she’s sharing screen time with a big-name celeb.

In the third season of HBO’s The White Lotus, I stepped into the role of Chelsea, the cherished companion to Walton Goggins’ character, Rick.

Currently, she’s making the most of her recent showcase by teaming up with Angelina Jolie for the upcoming movie “Anxious People”, as reported by Deadline.

In this undertaking, the esteemed director Marc Forster, who brought “World War Z” to life on screen, will take charge. This project is based on the 2019 novel with a matching title, penned by the gifted author Fredrik Backman, well-known for his work “A Man Called Ove.

Previously, Forster transformed Backman’s novel “A Man Called Ove” into the 2022 movie titled “A Man Called Otto,” with Tom Hanks in the lead role.

The director is set to collaborate once more with screenwriter David Magee, who has previously adapted works like A Man Called Otto and the 2004 movie “Finding Neverland” by J.M. Barrie.

The movie unfolds on the eve of Christmas Eve, where an investment banker called Zara (Jolie) unwillingly interacts with a crowd of unfamiliar people at a gathering.

In a rephrased manner, the character is a ‘reluctant bank robber’ named Grace, who unintentionally holds strangers captive amidst the ensuing pandemonium, can be stated as: Grace, a forced bank robber at heart, finds herself in a predicament where she unwittingly detains strangers during the tumultuous events that unfold.

Nothing ultimately goes to Grace’s plan as secrets are revealed and oversharing ensues in the film.

The narrative revolves around an imaginary crime, a vanishing potential bank robber, and eight individuals who are unusually tense. As events unfold, they discover unexpected similarities that link them in ways they had never imagined before.

As a dedicated follower, I’m still unsure if any of the newcomers will be selected just yet, and there’s currently no hint about the start date for the project.

The producers of A Man Called Otto, Fredrik Wikström Nicastro from Hope Studios and Renée Wolfe from 2DUX2, will also be responsible for producing this adaptation.

Besides Director Forster and author Magee, Neda Backman will serve as the executive producer for the production of the film.

Earlier in 2021, the book had been transformed into a Swedish television show on Netflix, with Alfred Svensson and Dan Ekborg as the main stars.

Apart from these, she was featured in movies such as Uncle Vanya, The Spark of Life of Louis Wain, Alive (Living), and Capture The Moment (Seize Them).

Recently, the actress has been featured in “Toxic Town” on Netflix, a production by Jack Thorne, known for creating “Adolescence”. Additionally, she starred alongside David Morrissey, famous for his role in “The Walking Dead”, in “Daddy Issues”.

She is involved in another project titled “The Idiots,” which is currently in the development stage. In this upcoming production, she will be acting alongside Johnny Flynn, known for his role as Ripley.
